Just finished Engineer run. Here's some tips and stuff:
1. You can run away from the rune merchant and come back if you don't have enough money to buy all 3 runes for both occasions.
2. Try to save enough money/artifacts so that you have enough to buy a skill when you gain a level, remember that you get some gold for beating the boss as well. You can use artifacts you don't need as stable currency once you sell them.
3. Use all of your skills. Understanding your skills is key to winning battles.
4. Decide which enemy skills you should definitely interrupt/stun.
5. Conversely, it is a good idea to keep track of what stuns/interrupts your opponent has.
6. If you have trouble beating an enemy, take it step-by-step to figure out how you can improve your strategy. Stuns aren't always the best opening move.

Always build up a large stockpile of gold before leveling. Otherwise, you'll be screwed if you can't beat the new level's basic foes without upgrading your skills or equipment.

Wish my stuns, poisons, shields, immunity, slows, interrupts were HALF as effective as the enemies... I can see why they aren't though, If the devs had made the players as OP as the enemies, you could one button kill everything on normal difficulty. Hopefully the next game will be a little more balanced.

I recommend playing "easy" for casual gamers.
You know, "normal" is kinda hard, I've enjoyed the easy mode,
still challenging enough for 90%. 5/5 Great game, nice artwork.

My two cents: the Engineer is fun and tactical (a bit easy tho). The Juggernaut is harder and more difficult to master (albeit strong!). The psionic is plainly annoying: he's weak, under-powered and slow; not fun at all to play!
