Everyone, the reason the developer isn't making a sequeal is he needs an artist/animator. Otherwise he can't complete the sequel. Please plus this so artists might see this comment and help with the hopefully sequel!

Someone stole my car, money, got fired, evicted from house. The food went up so high that I would eventually starve to death. There seriously needs a SUICIDE button!

1st day: spent all my money from the bank for furniture,
2nd day: got fired from my job and robbed.
me: I'm ever playing again!
5 seconds later: lost all my money again...

guys, about the chinese takeaway thing. It says very clearly in the beginning of the game "Chinese take-away is effective only when owning appliances from the shopping mall." so you need to buy a microwave, fridge and other cooking stuff for the Chinese takeaway to work. a microwave can make chinese food last 4 days while the fridge lasts 7 days. Thats all i know, i havent tried the other appliances

Get rich quick in stocks by buying low and selling high. These are the numbers I use and am usually a millionaire by day 100. These hard buy/sell points are conservative and built for my personal risk tolerance. You may wish to sell stocks like banking and hi-tech when they are over 250, but I had the stock crash on me at 168 enough times to just play it safe, and sometimes I get lucky.
Food: buy-33/36, sell 50+
Commercial: buy-44/48, sell 80+
Banking: buy 128 or below, sell 144+
Hi tech: buy 128 or below, sell 144+
Aviation: buy 77, sell 100+
Real estate: buy 100 or below, sell 150+
Property:
Whenever the property stock is 120 or below, buy any properties you can afford. Hold them and use the income to buy stocks as per above. When the property stock goes over 200, sell your property for a massive gain and repeat.
When you can afford it, whenever rent is due buy the luxury apartment, then sell it. You keep your money, and you live rent free for another week.

to pay rent(for all you noobs who cant bother to figure it out themselves) is to go to the real estate building and click the button which says: pay rent for your apartment: $300/2500(depending on the apartment)

Too much random events, that have too much impact. Except for education, you may lose anything at any point of the game... just because.

Took me a couple tries to get used to it, but my best tip is to keep 2-3 months worth of rent from the start (600-900) in the bank, then just complete your education working here and there too, buy the suit, then proceed to get bigger jobs, remember even if you're already the highest position (doctor at the hospital for example) the wage may have increased so you could always keep checking the employment office. Also, when you have enough to start buying business and such, buy them when theyre in the 20k-30/low 40k as they will rise to 80-100k which is when you can sell and make a killing. Easiest way to become a millionaire in my opinion, be patient.

Day 2: Gets fired resulting in less happiness, gets job at Chinese place
Day 3: Gets fired again causing more unhappiness
10/10 would get fired again

Other then the huge amount of crime in this city. It's a good game. here's how you survive. You get a job near the low rent apparatment and work there. Every day, buy a salad and 2 milkshakes meaning you'll get + health and + happines.

Someone stole my money when I was in the low budget apartments. Add a security system we can buy to the Shopping Mall!!!!!!!
