The biggest problem I'm finding with the grappling is that when your back is up against a wall that you can't grapple on you still hit it. If i'm not facing the wall then I shouldn't hit it. This got amazingly ridiculous when I was just starting the escape portion of the game at the start of the level when there's a pink wall up against my back and i'm still hitting the dumb thing. Fix that and I'd happily give this a 5 but that just adds another bit of difficulty that it didn't need.

*Gone all the way to the end to miss the pod. I'm not going to play the whole thing again just to have another try. *Could use save profiles due to the difficulty, player wanting to continue in another time and to maybe get another ending for. *'C' doesn't do anything for me, other controls are fine. *All in all - quite enjoyable game.

Strange. I found that falling at a certain point causes a dialog saying "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-" to appear before you die.

This game is amazing. The gameplay mechanic is solid and addictive. The story is fun and the characters are over the top. Highest praise in my book ,though, goes to the stellar Nes-esque graphics and sound/music design. Well done.

Also: the ability to press esc and go back to the menu.....not needed. I was near the end and I accidentally pressed it. If there was a way I could start at my last checkpoint then I wouldn't have stopped playing. It's an ok game but it's just trying too much to be an NES game. That's not exactly something to strive for.
