You guys have a seriously awesome world going on here. I love it. Keep making this stuff, and keep working with this particular lore. It's beautiful.

I just second Furiiku's comment, this works beautifully on Fx (Release and Nightly) and Chromium under GNU/Linux (Fedora and Debian). It's nice to see HTML5 branching out. Unlike some other "plugin" it's not tied down to a specific platform but it's a really open format available for everyone - I applaud you too
As html/js game developer thank you! It's just a try we want to check if it possible. And yes in most case it work quite well. We learn some lesson too and next time it will be even better :-)

Tried to play it. Told me I have incompatible browser (had FF10). Upgraded to latest FF (FF13). STILL can't play it. WTF?

Wow! I started playing and when I next looked up, 2 hours had passed. The story line draws you in, the puzzles are logical as are the controls and it's entertaining. Far too few games like this are being made. My biggest complaint is I want to know what happens next. It's like someone just took away a book at the best part. 5/5

A wonderful teaser, stylish and compelling, only concern is no explanation of the cloud tile puzzle, for those of us unfamiliar with mahjong.

got a little aggravated trying to find the word connection but other then that the game wasn't difficult... but also not so easy i was bored. 5/5

Noooo!!! I suck at Mah-jong! Great game though, I played the first and loved it and this is living up to it's potential.

My complements for creating such an elegant and pleasant game using modern web-techniques. It works perfectly in Firefox 13 on Linux (Ubuntu here) as well.
As a professional web-developer I applaud your decission to simply make a great game, using only the open standards available in any modern browser. It's great to see that not everything on the web needs to limit itself because of the lowest common denominator known as Internet Explorer 9 and lower.
Anyone, on any OS can install an up-to-date Firefox or Chrome. It sure beats Flash. Better performance too.
WOW! You are the first one I think who not only html5 don't bother but was the additionaly value. Great to here it because our next game will be probalby in html too :-) Our game now is something like exclusive title for "top modern browser" :-) But I really really like the way people just love their browsers almost like the game consoles :-)

So no opera, huh? Well then gonna have to say no. :) I am sure it's a good game, though. Just not feeling it enough to actually download another browser just to play it.

I think the game is beautiful, atmospheric and fun. But Like Borjaider,
I find the interface awkward and clumsy, making it more difficult and less fun to play. So it's a 4/5 from me. :-)

A wonderful story, might be a bit slow for others but I felt it was well paced. The art and the music are amazing as well. 5/5
I so happy that people who finds this game from good to wonderful write the comments too. Sometimes I have impression that we've done bad thing just by share this game with the web :-) Thx

we need the following ingredients to prepare a meal: locale storage
I don't get that, what do you want? third party cookies? that is something you won't get
More information about it you can find here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_storage. We save game state thanks to it, and no pass anybody into the game world without "save" insurance :-) But if you have it turned off by a good reason that's fine - the choice is always yours.

How refreshing! Maria did a great job with the translation! I found far fewer mistakes than I normally do with translated games.
Yes, it should say "you need local storage to be turn on for this site". Please turn it on and try again. Sorry for inconvenience but we really care to save you progress.

it's very pretty, and the story is probably good, but it's just so hideously slow... (this machine is good enough to run Portal 2, you're gonna tell me it's not good enough to run something with *no moving parts*? even if it is html5)
you probably mean the prealoding times when you wait from location to location. We cannot help here but we learn our lesson. We've been able to play this on ipad1 and smartphones with andriod onboard - it's wasn't a '3dMark top score' but fast enough to bit the game in one session :-)

@Sherlockmos: IE is by far not the most frequently used browser (http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp) and has not been for almost three and a half years.

this browser doesnt meet the requirements of the game. chrome sucks. your game doesnt meet the requirements of this player. 1/5

This, my friends, is a 5/5. Awesome adventure. Smart, but no so hard that you need a guide or walkthrough. Trader of Storys was a nice game, too. Keep on with you good work. Thx very much!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Did you really not test this on Internet Explorer? I'm using IE 9 and my browser doesn't meet the requirements of the game. Surely you'd want this to work on the most frequently used broswer on the planet.

Downgraded my rating from 2 to 1. An answer from the developer saying essentially "It's slow because we wanted it to be slow" is fine ... it's your game ... but it doesn't make me like it more.
my my the windows always have some kind of bug. But jokes aside - can you give us a more details? there is no hotspot or contextMenu for window? Or the image after doesn't appear?

@Pulsaris: Lag from this game is not from your computer sucking (although that may be part of it because you aren't playing WoW instead of this game. Also, WoW really isn't the standard of benchmark graphical quality FYI) but from your ISP sucking. It's done in HTML 5. And when you say "The Kongregate Chat is demanding sometimes" that is also a symptom of your ISP being slow. So stop blaming them for something that is not under their control.
@everyone who is complaining about not being able to use it because of your browser: First update/upgrade it, and save tech support everywhere thousands of hours per year. Second, Chrome and Firefox are used by almost 75% of people browsing the internet, (http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp) and for good reason. You may like your non-updated browser, Opera, or whatever, but DO NOT blame the developer for not being able to play a game because you are unwilling to download one of two free programs that 1.6 BILLION people use.

One issue I've found is that, like meownomnom, I have an issue where a loading screen/slideover thing begins when I click on something and it gets all the way to around 90% of the way then stops. Then I have to refresh to make it work. The problem is this has happened around 5 or 6 times in a relatively short period, which is rather frustrating. Having to refresh once or twice isn't the end of the world, but it gets really annoying when the number of instances in which I've had to do so begins approaching the double digits.
