Edit: Are there actually any downsides for messing up the beat? I was playing it completely wrong (by doing in between intended beats) and I don't think I noticed any consequences for it.
(other than not getting a combo for kill mode)

you can do commands really fast if you press buttons well. press twice just before and after the beat, do it again to do stuff fast. you wont get combo though...

ah,man.I love rhythm games!I was really confused at first,but I got the hang of it after the first hunt.I sometimes get lag spikes that mess up my combos,but that's about it.really loving this game!thank you for gifting this beauty to us,Nerdook.

This is why flash games are so amazing, and why snotty children should have their tongues removed. Inspired by, copied from.. I don't give a shit. Nor do I care about Patapon. I don't own a PSP, so without this, I'd never be able to experience the style of gameplay. I can see a good deal of effort went into the creation of this game, and it pays off with fairly polished results. Great job! 4/5

Little bit hard to keep up the rythm (or its just me :P ) overall, great game, I did not get tired of it. Nice graphics, nice idea, nice game. Only the background music confused my "drumming" 4/5

ok first of all its patapon not popon not popponop ot popponat or patapun or ponpatapo ok THATS HOW ITS SPELLED people dont seem to understand this and this is not that oh and by the way you can play patapon at miniclip if you psp users did not know and i need further instructrion on the first lv on the tut it was extremely difficult i didnt even pass it i tried every combo of beats and none made my guys attack no offense i think this is most likely a great game there should be a rts version of this were you use the mouse instead of bangos please dont get red of this i want people to know this is not patopon and i also want them to know how patapon is spelled O_O

Somebody is going through and downrating the help me comments. JUST HELP THEM. Anyway PATAPON WAS FUN, Thats right. If you think its boring then you obviously haven't adjusted to it. Now when I play this its as easy and pre-algebra (which for me is insanely EASY).

there's no patapon on kong, so even if it's heavily inspired by it, no point in saying it's a ripoff
even because nerdook had to make it in flash from scratch, there's no copy paste in this world to turn a psp game int a flash one
and this has way more units than patapon
kinda lags a bit on my computer, that's the sad part, but we need more rythm hybrid games like this

Yea, I can't seem to beat the last level (The One Where General Kestra Betrays You With The Treasure Chest)
No matter what kind of setup I try, My general always dies at the end. Is there any specific way to beat it? (I've noticed that it's impossible to kill the assassins that appear)

I love it, it reminds me a lot of Patapons and Patapons 2, ones that I lost. I'm really glad you made this because I love Patapons so much I think I'm going to buy them today if I can find them too. This game is awesome and for those of you who think its a rip off of Patapons, shut up, if you don't like it then don't bother to post a hateful comment about it. Keep up the good work nerdook.

I like Nerdooks games alot. I liked this one alot too. I gave the game a 2 because of gameplay, it was new way of comanding troops, but to me it seemed unnessasary. The menues where not so good :( . Fun with the monsters and gems etc.

anyways, Nerdook, again a great game. although i do prefer patapon, i do like your audio much better, love the "Boom". And i miss the stupid cheering the minions do.
Anyway, 5/5 again, you are a flash master ;)
