My strategy for the sun emperor level: Use the priestess (since it's the weakest of the special units), and the hat that suppresses the spirits to one per priestess. Than only hurt the cat with the scarabs. (Pro Tip: You can still get gold scarab even if the Cat God doesn't die!)

balance recommendation for gold scarab on Sun Emperor level: Perhaps give coin bonus for killing the cat in faster? then you don't need to sit there avoiding the kill.

All in all I couldn't get on with this game - The hit box for the fireballs and divine pillar was deceptively small, the upgrades did nothing to make it feel upgraded and were simultaneously way overpriced, the game appeared to rely on luck more than skill, and the constant shooting allowed no room for tactical defensive shots. Sad to say I found this a disappointing addition to the Nerdook repertoire, 2/5

Once again Nerdbook completely out do themselves. A perfect game with good music, great concept, and a great developer. 5/5

Overall good game, I like the randomness to the scarabs. I thought the golden scarabs really drew back on the game though, it would be more sensible if the upgrades didn't act as a downfall towards them. 4*. (Also, can't seem to get the last badge to register, something I'm not doing right?)

i love this game :D good tip to get the gold scarab, try not to hit the sun kings and get as many combo kills as possible

I found myself protecting sun kings so that I could get a high enough score >.> I don't think I should be punished for being too powerful.

I miss the whole Reaper and Mummy spam from the last game. I really hate the shooting system on this one and a new direction was probably not the way to go with a sequel.
That aside, the gameplay adds a certain level of frustration from lack of control, there isn't enough that a player can be doing to keep it fun and interesting. However the game design on the whole is as per usual Nerdook, even if it's a bit of a downgrade in gameplay.

First world cat god problems: so strong it defeats the sun kings so fast it doesn't have time to reach the gold scarab score
