Man, this "cat god" has been quite a busy entity. Heck, just the other day it was over in the epic battle fantasy universe trying to destroy the humans, and now just a couple days after I kicked its butt it's back at it again...

Decent game, no game-breaking problems 5/5 if rating was possible. Way to go needs (Hard mode) Or new game+ into Hard Mode/ Or maybe just some more powerups or hats.

I have to say, I have always been a freaking huge fan of your games, I even remember talking in chat to you once and how excited I got when you told me of a new game being worked on, and on your facebook I am ALWAYS hoping for some update! When I saw the 2-player option, I was troubled, since VERY few games do enjoyable 2-player modes, so I tried it solo. It gives this game a 5/5 on it's own, VERY well made and I will actually use it with my friends! And hats. I love hats. Certainly a 10/5, like always, a fantastic game! I genuinely would say that you are my favourite game developer, enjoyed every game so far!

How many hats are there? Loving the game. The addition of the hats really made it a lot better to me. I'm also glad your not making me replay the entire game to get a hat from the sun emperor level. I had to do that the first time because i maxed everything before that level x.x'
nah, you don't have to. but if you do, it's still possible to kick Cat God's butt. also: 50 hats, so far. you unlock them semi-randomly, their traits are randomised.

So are the Scarab powers just completely random? Plus some Scarab powers that I don't have upgraded happen. (unlocked) I don't really know how else to say it. But man this game is fun! Plus I love getting the hats!

Found a bug - I was on sun king 2 for the 3rd or maybe 4th time and lost without even killing one of them. I upgraded a bunch of things and went back to the menu and the next area was opened. I had never beaten the 2 kings.

As 42nd_hitchhiker says, it's strange to get lower scores after you upgrade. A time bonus could balance that, or even the ability to undo/sell back upgrades.

My only complaint is if you start maxing the upgrades, it seems so much harder to get the gold scarab. Probably just me, but it seems unusually hard to get it after maxing some of the upgrades.

I like this game very much :) the only thing Iwould add, if any, would be to upgrade the auto fireball attack XD other than that. AWESOME

Thank you Nerdook, personally, I have enjoyed and plaed EVERY game of yours and have really become a fan. You're great at what you do, and don't stop! I heavily enjoyed the new-ish art style, and wish you a great year of games.

A nice improvement compared to the first version. A suggestion would be to allow us to choose a scarab power when 5 scarabs are killed (keep it random on the mystic mayhem level)

i saw the cat...i went Hello Kitty! no wait this is Cat God!!!!! AND I WILL DESTROY U SUN GOD!!!! great game so far no problems but i wish u woulda kept the skills like they were except for the scarab ones i am fine with those and also i think u should make it where the scarab power will not activate till ur ready as i didn't want my scarab power yet and there was only about 5 minions so i had a problem there like u could press space to activate it every time u fill up the scarabs

It's a fun game!
... I'm hesitant to mention this, but maybe don't make the most talented builder a white dude with blond hair and blue eyes in a game about Egyptian slavery? I know you're just making a game here, not making a statement on race, but it risks coming across as insensitive, maybe?

To clarify, I meant, make more incentive to gather the scarabs as you progress. The end goal is clearly cause enough!

Massive difficulty spike at Royal Rumble, imo. Make more incentive to gather Gold Scarabs. The game is adorable and fun, as expected!

I'd like it if on the sun emperor level if the fireballs came down where the maker was instead of just the pillar of fire.

The level where you are the Sun King was a great idea. It was an interesting twist to have to go from the other side.

So far the only thing that bothers me is when you are collceting the golden scarabs, you end up playing the "Don't kill the last sun king yet also don't let him shoot my ass"

I haven't gotten to the Epic Finale yet, but I can say that I've enjoyed the game so far. Something I think would be interesting would be (the following is hypothetical, assuming that the Epic Finale is a battle against the Sun Emperor, and if it isn't, then include that level) the upgrades you buy for the Sun Emperor affect him during that battle, and possible vice versa for the Sun Emperor level; the Cat God upgrades make him more powerful in that level. Or perhaps include an unlockable "Hard" game mode that includes that. Still, a great game, Nerdy! Keep up the good work!
