Very refreshing game. Nice to see somebody thinking outside the box for a Defense game. I agree with the comments about spell xp gain, but honestly... that's just me looking for something to criticize. Really enjoyed this game! As a side note, nice to see a game maker really care and read the comments... I will vow to play all of your future games now, haha.

Short and sweet, 4/5. Only drawback is there is just not enough of it. Or maybe it is as it should be...keeping us wanting more.

Got bored in survival and just lost on purpose after 150 waves.
Survival Build (all level 3): Polymorph, Soul Jar, Spirit Blade, Earthquake, Confusion, and Reaper.
You can hold off the enemy indefinitely once they get to the last floor. Use Soul Jar as soon as it charges and aim at the corners. Use Spirit Blade on the first floor whenever you get it. Use Earthquake whenever it gets more than 20% complete. Use confusion to slow down everyone. Anyone that spirit blade should be taken care of by the Reaper. Use Polymorph whenever you see a champion, it's the easiest way to kill them and they are the only enemy that can kill the reaper at all.

for the 12 minute achievement I recommend picking reaper, spirit blade, polymorph and soul jar, I did not use any other spells when I got the achievement.
tactic: make sure to always have a reaper on field, spam soul jar, spirit blade and polymorph as much as you can, well placed soul jars (a good soul jar hits about 4-5 enemies, but 3 will do early on) will allow you to have enough mana to continously use each ability as often as the cooldowns allows. as for the spells, try to use spirit blades on clusters of basic slaves, often on lower levels of the tower, use polymorph on false prophets, high priests, champions and the like, when in doubt, do not hesitate to just use it on basic slaves though, the reaper will take care of the few that survive this meatgrinder. I survived 14 minutes doing only this with 40 mana left when I lost, might have gotten a better score if I added in earthquake + to have this stay alive.

how i easily survived 16 minutes in survival: lightning, skele, angel (all level 3 necessary), curse, concrete fist, confusion. (level 1 or 2)
at the start just make sure you always have 2 skeles and an angel to take people down.
everytime a high priest comes along use curse on things around. everytime a champion/ sunking comes along use curse and then confusion when they reach angel and skeles. lightning every once in a while to keep minion levels down and use concrete/lightning when false prophets rock up. (Concrete fist optional, id say either of the secret spells or locust is just as effective for weakening numbers)
I could have survived longer if i'd wanted keeping this strategy up

Actually the tower completes in 7 floors, though the game doesn't tell you.
My suggestion for survival mode is Skeleton, Reaper, Soul Jar, Confusion, and 2 other power you find useful. Also the 3 upgrades that worth 1 scarabs.
Skeleton & reaper can constantly kill with a small consumption of mana, you only have to recast maybe once 2~3 minutes. Soul Jar keep giving mana to you while killing the minions, just make sure you don't smash the jar without hitting any minion. Confusion can slow the minions down, despite making the warriors to kill their allies, so it is useful in gaining time.
I personally would also recommend fireball, which costs the least mana and have the shortest cooling down time, but the 4 powers above are my doubtless choices

I have beaten all 12 levels yet I haven't gotten the achievement. under it, it says "best so far: 12"
other than that great game one of the few games that I am able to play all the way through.

Omg this game is sooo addicting!!!I can't stop playing it!And i agree I dont think they would keep building if they saw giant worms skeletons and fireballs...I know I wouldent.

Nerdook, you're still a genious. Where to you get the ideas? I'm a big fan of your games. Graphics may be simple, but the gameplay is amazingly fun, just like a flash game shall be! Keep up the good work ;)
