I agree with the longer term need for replay value. Maybe something along the lines of rising rank in the the detective agency or police force? Maybe a longer story line not just focused on murders (e.g., theft, kidnapping) that has personal goal in mind, ala Monk.
Cases should become more difficult either through larger boards, fewer clues, less time etc.

I'd like this game a lot more if it actually required logic to select the tiles to click, rather than guessing most of the time. It would make more sense to me for the red herrings to be the 'mines', not something you find when clicking a square you know should be safe.

It's a fun, unique game, but there needs to be some intent of replay. The money earned needs to stockpile for some type of achievement, in-game or on Kongregate (badges, of course).

Maybe add difficulty or something along those lines because i'm winning every time. 5/5 though I really like the idea.

Yeah, I think for this to be an effective game the time bonus needs to mean more. No matter how early you solve the crime, it's almost always worth more money if you continue to click away until you run out of time. I like the concept, though. It's very unique. Playing reverse minesweeper is also not the most exciting thing in the world. The best strategy is just to click around squares with large numbers. It's pretty rare that you can actually use deduction to guarantee the location of a clue, and you would think deduction should be important for a detective game.

Whenever I see "expert at lockpicking" I think it was Jill Valentine. :) I kind of wonder, how do they determine if someone is brutally violent? Have them commit a murder?

enjoyable variation on two old standby's. As some have mentioned some variation might help for replay value. Perhaps incorporating varying difficulty (puzzle size perhaps)? My only real beef is that a quick solve isn't worth more cash. I got an early left handed clue with only one left handed suspect and it turned out to be worth the least money / score wise.

Cool concept, but a little lacking in playability. It's a 3/5 from me.
Oh, and it says in the updates that "Suspects spaced out a bit more than before". For a moment there, I was wondering if they were daydreaming when I was solving the case...

good game. Also had problem where mouse moved slightly and clicked a person I had already eliminated. Good to see original game.

i clicked 5 out of 6 that they werent suspects.. pressed solve when my mouse slipped away. clicked the wrong person because of that.. I already ruled him out by clicking!

Great first effort. Needs to ramp up the difficulty slowly as the rounds continue, then you can attach a plot, etc. But great concept, looking forward to the sequel.

Needs a story line, more diverse gameplay, difficulty, etc.
For now it's fine as a demo, but to be a full game it needs more. 3/5

I'd like a button to mark a tile as one that definitely has no clue under it, like you can in Minesweeper.
But it's interesting game.

Very limited playability. One round was all I needed. This isn't for serious puzzle or deduction aficionados. It's too easy. For those who find minesweeper frustrating, it will be too hard. This needs difficulties, levels, and a better story. I've seen action games more engaging than this in terms of story.

LOL XD! The cousin: Right handed and a meticious planner. The colleage: Left handed and brutally violent. The suspect (not a character) is brutally violent and a meticious planner. so, i have got to choose randomly one of the cousin and colleage. i chose the colleage but it was the cousin xD

A reverse minesweeper. Well, this is a very interessing idea :) A well made game, but the storyline, a series of levels with growing difficulty would be nice here. 4/5

Needs a mute button! Come on, people! Also, it would be nice to keep track of squares that don't have clues somehow...

It is possible to be rich and deep in debt. It is also possible to be poor and free of debt. I think I'd rather be the first...

It is strange that when you actually do somenthing good, as getting a clue, it makes it harder to get the others and eventually you get to guess the tiles. Mineswiper was all the other way around, always getting new clues as the game goes further on. Other than that its a good game and a new aproach (very rare this days). 5/5

4/5. nice twist on a classic.. needs depth. maybe a shop to use the money you earn? buy an extra clue, more time, etc...?
