These comments are the most depressing thing I think I've ever read. Fullmetal Alchemist? Are you people serious? These bosses are named after the seven deadly sins as accepted by the Roman Catholic Church and written about in depth by Dante Alighieri in The Divine Comedy (the first part is Dante's "Inferno"). Please, people, don't be ignorant: put down your laptop and pick up a book.

To beat this entire game: place sleeper block in column 3, then sticky above it, then make a tower of sleepers on top. Then face the other direction and make a column of sleepers facing right in column 1, with a sticky on top. mirror this for the other columns. When you get the "digestion block" substitute it for the sleepers in the mirror portion. Toss in the occasional curse block or eye block if you feel like it. Played only this strategy and never lost a stuffed animal. Even on survival.

Strategy that beat every single level:
in leftmost and right most columns, place an attack boost, two piercing shots, then 2 more attack boosts. then in the middle, alternate between slow blocks and blank slots. use eye blocks in the blank slots if needed for ghosts. To start off the game, place a damage boost/pierce in the rightmost corner, and a slow in the leftmost. Once you can, replace the slow block with a damage amp/pierce. then build the second pierce on each side, top each side with 2 damage amps, and build the third slow. Then just whack stuff with your sword until you win. Will require some maintenance on survival due to cheese, but that strategy easily got a perfect score on every level for me.

It'd be nice if we could see the enemy types that'll be in the next level while we're picking which tower types to bring along. My awful memory does not work well for this. Other than that, pretty fun. Lots of options on how to play, though I've been doing well with a double stack of duals on the bottom and sleepers facing out.

quite easy. just built stack 3x piercing and 2x booster on the end of map (and nom nom or gas block near demon spawn) to claim epic victory over demons on every map

Basically just stack a booster block and a piercing block on both ends facing the middle (and stack a sticky block on top with 1-2 magma blocks) and sticky blocks in the middle (you can also alternate sticky blocks with grabber blocks but I never saw the need) . Even bosses die to this, and/or replace to digestion blocks once boss is out.

Great game. It would be useful to be able to access the demon descriptions other than when the demon is first introduced (such as by scrolling over the demons listed for a given level).

Really fun game, bosses can be quite difficult until you get the digestion tower, then bosses are easier than normal demons. 5/5 great job Nerdook

Great unconventional defense-game. Perfect amount of difficulty and length. Not too long where it gets repetitive and not too short to have people wanting more. There is a great array of blocks, monsters, and power-ups to keep the game from getting boring. That also adds to certain strategic block placements for certain monster waves. I love the complexity of this game design. 5/5.

how about "An Insane Rogue AI Took My Daughter Into A Monster Zombie- Infested Dungeon With Deadly Neighbors (And Your Heroes Have To Find Clues)"? a tribute to all of your epic games.

The Piercing Block + Booster Block combo is broken. Beat the entire game (including survival) using the same strategy... Start with Piercing + 2 Boosters on top at the far right. Add 2 Boosters, then repeat the same column on the far left, mirrored. Add Sticky Blocks and Eye Blocks in the middle and raise the two Piercings as necessary. And for Survival, your sword will quickly start doing 50+ damage, so just sit in the middle.

2 piercing and 3 booster. On the far right. Will take you very far, doing 8 damage piercing with the gold upgrade added. OWNAGE

One little thing that i found wierd, in the Pride level, there are soulstealers, and there are no souls hanging in there to be stealed. D:

Btw, great game indeed, I would've loved to see something like a limited time on freezing in game, or make a limit on how many times you can 'freeze'. Would make it more challenging. However, this game is still great and unique, so I will still give it a 5/5 but what I personally would've gave was a 4.5/5, but noooooo... kongregate doesn't do decimals.

My successful survival setup was 4 stacks, 1 space in between each. First stack was all dual towers with an eye on the 2nd to the top. Second stack was all digestion pointing left. Third stack digestion again pointing left. Forth stack same as the first. I put the 1st and 4th stack up, then filled in the middle 2 stacks. Then used the sword and got it all the way up to 200+ gems.

Awesome Game! spent a few hours beeting to to perfect, everthing gold, =D only thing i think you could have made better about it would be survival being endless, and the bosses not turning things to cheese/destroying them, other than that, PERFECT GAME!!!!!!!! =D Keep It Up!!!

its a bad idea to put the reset button (R) right next to the number row. you might hit it on accident on wave 24 on survival like i did

One thing: it's a bit annoying having "dad" kick back up from slashing when you're trying to fly down to save a toy and it ends up getting snatched by a demon... X_X
Appart from that, awesome game, loving it!

demon: I could fly over all these towers after the first row, but I'll go all the way down facing a barrage of arrows and a man dressed like michael jackson with a giant sword just to steal some soft toys...
well at least we don't have to worry about genius plans of earth conquering by demons

I love that you can control a guy and hit the enemies when your blocks has failed to destroy them.I don't see much tower defense games with a some sort of "hero" to help defend.Good work nerdook.

Tip On Survival: Make A Tower With: Perfume, Sleeping Gas, Digester, Gas, Fireball and place them on two towers on each edge, facing eachother. and place eye towers in the middle. Rate This Up If You Think It Helps!

boy are they going to regret this! is a typo but overall this game has a great amount of types of demons and towers very creative! 6/5

Nerdook, I join kongregate when I played monster slayer....just for the sake of listening to my son's and carol ending song and finding out more about your game. Really like those monsters taken from the 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac.
Hope I am not the world's first mum that play her son's online game .

If he has the power to freeze time (yes I am aware its just a game mechanic) why doesn't he just do that, walk into the portals, and grab his daughter?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I have an easier strategy. 1 x poison by the portal, 4 x sleeper facing portal on last column, 4 x sleeper on your poison facing toys, then fill the floor with curse blocks. =)

What I did for survival(towers all the way to top): Starting from front: Eye(bottom)+Poison blocks, skip a space, Slowblock+Eye(Top), skip a space, grab blocks, poison+eye(bottom), skip a space, eyeblock(bottom)+sword+fireblocks. Attack all bosses as the poison and grab blocks will take care of everything else and replace cheese immediately.

Survival Mode Tip: Worm blocks are your friend =p DO NOT USE SLOW BLOCKS AT THE TOP. I know they can be good since it gives an extra side that they're slowed on, but in survival mode the longer the bosses are on a stack, the higher the chance of them changing a block into cheese. Make 4 pillars starting from the far left, this'll give you an extra collumn to create blocks if the one closest to your dolls is cheeseified (im sure thats not a word lol). Make sure you have an eye block or 2 around to catch the ghost boss, and the wraith boss is great sometimes since he can destroy your cheese'd blocks allowing you to replace them. Towards the end you'll have enough spare souls that you'll be doing the majority of the damage yourself (from the 20% bonus). With the bonus damage and worms block this can get pretty easy towards the end. Heres an example of what it looks like (though I didn't need the spare collumn on the right): http://i52.tinypic.com/n32k5c.jpg Hope this helped someone
