I found the Sleeper Block to be the easiest to abuse. I ended up getting a Gold Soul every level using only Sleeper Blocks. Since they both deal damage and produce a stun effect, you can use that to set up huge buffers and place the Demons in single sword-swing range. This makes life a lot easier than attempting to get these complex setups. I'll try the Flames, but I'm curious to see how well they do.

It was difficult for me to be able to do this because the character attacks by itself. I'm used to having to hit a button to attack and thus kept accidentally selling my blocks. I like your ideas and appreciate your work but overall I really just didn't enjoy this game.

another way to easily beat survival is :
c1:boost-pierce-pierce-pierce-pierce
c2:empty
c3:eye
c4:same as c1 but backwards
c5:boost-digestion-digestion-digestion-digestion
c6:empty
c7:eye
c8:same as c5 but backwards
just replace everything as it goes and everyone should die by the end of the digestion, just remember to quickly replace cheese blocks, you don't lose anything by selling a tower (you get the souls back)

What is cool with the survival mode is the fact that, with all these souls unused, we feel AWESOME with the sword ! (50 dmg by hit thanks to the power in the shop ! )

Well that's unfortunate. I just completed survival with all 5 toys, didn't get the gold medal. Not going through that again...

easy win: put 1 booster block at each edge and and 4 piercing blocks on top of them, fill only the first row of the other columns with whatever you want or need and win

Was disappointed when I saw it described as a tower defense game, because I'm sick of them. This is actually an incredible and innovative game though! 5/5

Control list: Arrow Key/WASD to move, Spacebar to freeze time.
Numbers 1-6 to place Blocks, or you can use the mouse. Thanks:Nerdook

Tip for the people struggling with survival: You can make a sort of "death area" in the middle. I placed one sticky block at the bottom of both the leftmost and rightmost column. Above that, only cannon blocks facing inward. In the middle, just place eye blocks and sticky blocks whenever you need. Pause whenever a block turns into cheese, and replace it asap. Otherwise, just collect all those souls so your sword attacks do the damage. Target the bosses with your sword, and the rest is easy.

The sell block and attack button need to be two different keys. It's very annoying when I attack a demon but I accidentally sell blocks instead.

Developer, In my honest opinion, (as I always give, be it good, bad or indifferent). For starters: Looks to be a cute idea for a nice game, however, definitely needs clarification with instruction, I never did advance past the screen where it states: ''Arrow keys to move, Down to sell blocks...'' and then,- ''Use the number keys on your keyboard to place a block'' Sell blocks? To whom and with what do I ''sell'' these blocks? Why am I selling? Description is always good so players can enjoy without confusion. Nothing happened when I did any of this, I do thank you for making this mouse assessable though. As for any music and /or FX, I can not comment ass I do not hear, 3/5 (room for improvement) -Marz

Just for you to know , you can lose 4 toys on survival level and still get the gold medal , here's a tip for the survival , there are 8 columns with 5 rows each,
Column 1 : Flame-Flame-Eye-Flame-Flame
Column 2 : Empty
Column 3 : Empty
Column 4 : Sticky-Sticky-Eye-Sticky-Sticky
Column 5 : Empty
Column 6 : Flame-Flame-Flame-Flame-Flame (all faced backwards "to sticky")
Column 7 : Empty
Column 8 : Flame-Flame-Eye-Flame-Flame (faced backwards)

a bit of an update of szczor's straegyt; as for build order, start with the 3 curse towers, followed by col8's booster+pierces, and last the digestion. note that the digestion tower's damage is capped at 10 per shot

my wining setup:(from bottom to top) 1col: cursed, digestion; 3col: cursed(or eye if ghosts); 6col: cursed(or eye if ghosts); 8col: booster, 2xpircing, 2xbooster. Hero stands on col3/6 to hit every demon in 2-4 or 5-7. Almost no body can get through to 5th col

By the way, there are 25 levels on "Survival". The best sequence is all lava, then all flame towers, two empty columns, then, depending if there are invisibles, eye lava(2x) eye lava OR all lava, two empty columns, then all flame towers. "+" so others can see!

An amazing game as always!! ^_^ The only problem I had was that I kept accidentally selling my towers as I naturally press the down key to try and make the character fall faster (even when it doesn't), but since this is probably just something that happens to me, 5/5!! ^_^

If he has the power to freeze time (yes I am aware its just a game mechanic) why doesn't he just do that, walk into the portals, and grab his daughter?

I don't really see the point of sending Soulstealers against me on Pride stage. Souls don't even spawn, what are they even going to do?

Really fun game, bosses can be quite difficult until you get the digestion tower, then bosses are easier than normal demons. 5/5 great job Nerdook
