My guy of Dreams turned out to be a murderer, unfaithful guy. But he was also a family guy. I decided to stick with him for rest of my life. He did sleep around and murder, but he deeply cared about me and our children.

The mechanics are fine, it's a fun game, but it's definitely not even close to how, well, anything works in real life, lol. Maybe instead of The Dream being based on appearance, (which makes the player girl really superficial), guys could have their appearance partially based on their traits, ie a geeky one would have the stereotypical glasses, and your dream guy would have certain personality traits. Of course, some guys would be OBVIOUS murderers, and some you'd only find out after three years...
(also, it seems like it'd be super simple to have the option to play as a guy or be gay or bi without changing the mechanics in any way, so why not?)

So, the maximum points for a guy's appearance is 20 and the maximum for personality (that I've found) is 18. That means that if you are perfect looking, you only have to not be terrible to be better than any possible ugly guy... sounds about how the system works.

From a degenerate premise, to ear-piercing sounds, to graphics so mind-numbingly, soul-shutteringly despicable that it rivals De Vermis Mysteriis and Revelations of Gla'aki - this "game" truly is an unspeakable blight upon the face of the universe.
If anything can force you to outright reject even the notion of love, and turn you into sociopathic miser hellbent on elimination of humans in most vile, cruel, and torturous way possible - this is it.

It's hard to find a guy that would give you a piggyback ride or puts you on his shoulders. But I still quite like it. Good game.

How I got 5 stars: Grab a guy right at the start so you don't miss out on early points, dump him before getting the career folders. Those folders are worth a LOT over time. Don't be too picky about looks, a partial match is a good start, even if you KNOW you will dump a guy, hold on while you use him to grab roses and diamonds. If you have a guy that isn't good, dump him before picking up a career folder. Once you have a guy that's +20, that's 5 star territory if you have a decent career.

Awesome game! This is pretty close to real life. We tend to choose first based on looks, and hope we don't get someone horrible. Waiting for Mr/Ms perfect till we are 40 is an option... but usually not the best way to get the most happiness (and then sometime they turn out to be a psycho)

I picked a guy who was almost the opposite of what I wanted in a guy, but her turned out tho be a great cook and a nice guy (and paranoid) so I could have done worse.
