Like real life, You can ignore guys for better career, but it caps out at around 650. And just like real life, girls can just find guys by bumping into them... but they want REALLY specific guys. But the traits that matter most you don't find out till later.

As some people seem to be struggling, basically the goal is to grab one of the first guys and hold onto him. If he has a bunch of negatives, then dump him. Then get items while avoiding losing him. Got 1,200 and 5 stars around the third time. The hard part is avoiding all men. That took around 8 tries.

There are ppl who find their love when they're over 50, others before. There's no problem in that. Also, not everyone has this need to have a romantic partner. Some are happier single, with friends and a cat. Your life is important no matter how "uneventful" it seems to society. If you're more than 50 don't be sad, you are enough, you matter. If you are less than 50, remember this, bc one day you'll need this and will scold yourself for criticizing this comment.

Met the dream guy, but he was a gambling addict and a criminal. Only +6 net happiness compared to one of the first which was +15.

Woot, finally got the guy of my dreams, he didn't have the exact same clothes, so it tricked me. Took me to the 7th or so game. Now to get 4 or 5 stars.

So, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get the 5 stars (I got sooooo close twice - once, I didn't get it because I accidentally picked up roses before getting the boyfriend) until...

...when I was about to give up, I decided to grab the first boy who came along. He only had one matching characteristic but all of his personality traits were almost the best possible, putting his total lover bonus higher than every other previous boyfriend I've ever gotten.

Found Elmer. He was a +26. Lived together for around 30 years then a skull appears out of a hidden body and he dies. I get my dream guy and he's good, but I miss Elmer. Sorry Craig.

1236 high score. always have a lover. the 1st stat is how much happiness you gain per year based on your lovers stats numerical stats. don't kill or lose your lover to another girl, you lose 25 happiness. Good luck
