Also I think this game is pretty good. Although there should be a badge for getting through the game without getting a single guy >w>
...took me a while but I actually did that.

it's too bad madsie got downvoted just for having a thoughtful opinion... as a girl this game does really rub me the wrong way. Like normal games I enjoy are "for guys", and if people make a game "for me" it's going to be about getting a boyfriend and not being a kickass hero like in games for guys.

A very rich unemployed couch potato... guess he must have inherited a whole lotta money :D
Cool game! It's so simple, and yet it's kept me entertained for the past hour or so.

I get in like 50 relationships of about two months each, I got every carreer bonus in the game, end the game with a relation of six years......"you had an uneventful life"?! Seriously?????

@madsie Yeah is sexist aganist women or whatever your point is... but as a guy you might get offended too. I mean "bump a guy to make him your boyfriend"?! that's thinking sooooo little about men...and again is a nice game with a simple logic. You're just over-overkilling it.

Guy #1 was a murderer. Guy #2 was a murderer. Guy #3 was a criminal. Guy #4 was the guy of my dreams, and he turned out to be unfaithful.
"Not bad! You lived a happy life!"

"I'll make a game that appeals to girls" -> "I'll make a game about getting a boyfriend" -> "I'll make a game that measures girls' happiness by how long they've had a boyfriend and whether or not he gives her roses" is a deeply, deeply screwed up thought process. You might not take this kind of thing seriously but a lot of women do, and if you made this in an effort to relate better to women then it was sorely misguided.
Now, if you made this game to cast half of humanity into an offensive stereotype, then good job!

@Arioeh I think if you dig a little more deeply, you'll find this game is a lot closer to a representation of what a lot of people go through. If you wait around for your dream guy, you'll probably find him later in life and won't gain as much happiness then if you tried a guy who had some features you like and found out he has great personality traits. Yes, you can dump him at the drop of a hat, but you want that option if he has 2 or 3 traits that drain your happiness.
There are a lot of aspects of this game that are like that... But I guess if the main character was a guy, or this was about killing zombies, we wouldn't be discussing whether or not this game is meant to represent a generalized viewpoint of what an entire gender is supposed to want.

Under rating threshold (hideshow) According to this game, single girls are happy as long as they have chocolate, but when they have a lover, they are able to drop them as easily as pushing a button, and value looks above all? :) Yes, this caters for the feminine population alright..

Interesting. I enjoy most of your work. The only problem, is that there needs to be a way to remove the stats at the bottom (or at least the bottom left), because they obstruct things coming up from the bottom.

Liked it. Achievements kept me playing. Would have like to have been able to customize my ideal match though. The random traits left it a little hard to remember what I was going for.
