Nerdook, I owe you an apology. I haven't always been on board with you and may, at times, have come across as unduly harsh. This one, though, earns you all the mad props in my book. Well executed and well done! 5/5

added a difficulty curve. levels on Difficulty 1 should be much easier now... though heavy metal rockfests are still tougher than gentle songs!!

The concept on this game is gold, I really like it. But as was already mentioned, the leveling system is quite ... strange, maybe even broken: If my music library consists only of Metal and Rock music, then it is quite impossible to advance, because the enemies are just too strong, and overwhelm you. Every song that has a bit of tempo immediately becomes impossible, especially if it is the first song you play. I know that you detailed this behaviour in the description, and I am well aware that this is planned, but you should maybe make it a bit easier for the first 5 or so levels.
Apart from that I really love this game, as it is a new concept and combines my two favourite things: music and games :).

Interesting game, although there is a sticky keys bug that ruins it for me. Sometimes, when playing, the Gyrocopter will keep going in whatever direction I last sent it until I re-enter the direction. On hard songs this gets me killed; on easy songs this makes it impossible to work on the "50 kills without being hit" award. Frustrating!
I know many games have a similar bug, caused by internet explorer, however I am not using IE. I'm using Firefox 4.0.1, and this is the only game I've ever had this problem with.

new update posted, now there's an unlockable weapons system with a total of 9 special weapons to collect. gonna fix the medals to reflect that soon.

i think that the only thing really missing in this game is that either the bullets or enemies appear in time with the beat or rhythm of a song

It's a good concept but the enemies don't seem like their very well synched to the songs, I played five different songs and I failed to notice much difference in how the enemies appeared.

I think it would be good for all enemies and cash to be destoryed/collected before the level ends. Then I can atleast grab the last cash that is floating away at the edge of the screen without panic that the song is almost over.

Do NOT use Queen's music, Touhou soundtrack, Lord of the Ring soundtrack, and other long soundtrack in this game. especially after F--king difficulty 8.

Songbird by Kenny G is more difficult than Through the Fire and Flames, and its supposed to be a calm and romantical smooth jazz song!

After playing a couple of my songs (That few that worked, not totally sure why) I was going to complain to nerdook that the game was to hard for merely starting out. Then I played the medium level song from Dave and realized that Rock and heavy metal aren't the easiest songs to start on. I think they are a bit worse than Dave's hard song. You never have a chance to breathe.

Wow! Now I can play music with the game, and the enemies spawn according to it?
As soon as I played this with Megadriver while rocking out with blazing wings (you know the zero wing song at the last boss) I gave this 5 stars. I would recommend nerdook work on the control, at times it lags and the chopper goes off in one direction, independantly...

Great game, aside from that fact that nothing attacks or shows up on screen during game play. I competed all three levels without hitting anything. So I got that going for me which is nice.

A back button in the Song Gallery would be nice. By the way, thanks for the songs from Dave, they really are quite good! In addition a fun game as always :).
