here's an idea- when you get a special weapon, it gets an activator prompt. for example, when you unlock the blade one that teleports you around and does melee damage to everything, it would activate whenever there's like a record scratch. the bubble shield would activate during calm bits, and so on. they'd all be on at once, but would only activate when the song is right for them to come out.

I love the concept, but there doesn't seem to be any actual correlation between the music and what's happening on screen, so it's just like I'm playing any random shooter muted while listening to my own music.

This seems to be the first game I played where you can't blame its maker for the balance. It all depends on the song you choose. Brilliant. 5/5.

If not for the enemy gallery, I would feel like the enemy spawns were completely random...Knowing why they show up would make it easier to find out the truthfulness behind the thought, but I don't have a very wide selection of tunes. The idea is awesome, though it would be awesome if the game could accept formats that are not mp3; for instance, I put a CD in the computer and it would not load the songs due to the files not being in the required format. Finally, what in the world does difficulty do? On the entirely other end of the spectrum: the mute button is AMAZING.

Noisy, staccato songs do well on this. My top cash-earning songs so far are NIN's Head Like A Hole and Audioslave's Man Or Animal. The rest are significantly behind.

so does how loud the song make the game harder and easier like when i had this one song that was loud the game got harder or is this not true?
