Just hit random every single time and finished the game with ease. I barely even had to move. And at the end, three items were still missing. What gives?

I feel slightly disappointed that there's no grand finale or ending, there's also an item missing and I have no clue how to obtain it. Maybe I just missed something -somewhere-. I honestly was one of the people who hit random each time, but I did at least make sure that when I went into a stage to pick my items carefully so that my weapon attack would be boosted along with the blocks I thought would be most useful

its annoying trying to make the 2nd +line of notes, it keeps reseting everytime i go past so i have to listen to it, then pause, make more, listen pause repeat

OMG I almost finished the game and the whole game refreshed and changed. OMG OMG OMG *knock head on keyboard* 02r9i3p92fjdsidhudihdgohig

Well, I'm glad Nerdook finally made another truly original game.(Sorry but you've had a habit of repeating each idea twice.)

My god! A game where I can take advantage of my ability to play piano! An awesome game, prepare to be flooded with usermade sogns by me hehehe

To Nerdock: Please, keep the last composed song so we can edit it instead of restarting every level. To everyone else: First use random then set music again, then you can put the intro you want and leave the rest random.

'isn't musically trained' is not an excuse not to know how to play this game, what i find surprising about this game is the 'song composition' page provides such a easy system for anyone to discovery and learn music theory through play. if you glance at this game and push it away because you saw black and white keys, take this chance to overcome a personal weakness.

You don't have to hit RANDOM. Just play the keys for the towers you want to activate. Then activate them according to type. Ex. A1 has 3 blocks. a1 a1 a1 will make three arrow towers. a1 a1 a1 again will change them into bullets. ect ect.

How is this so hard when not musically trained, have the notes play so that blocks pop up closest to the stars first.

I'd like to mention that is it ILLEGAL for a cop to pull you over for JUST your seatbelt. They have to have another reason then just that. The law was voted down in multiple states. Look up your state to see. It was deemed a waste of tax payer money in Nevada. Which I agree on.

Really good game, although people will (or did they already?) come up with songs that can beat every level easily. Also, being able to see equipment stats without having to press one of the two arrows would be nice. The idea itself deserves a 5/5 though.

This has to be one of the worst games I've played by nerdock... or period, seems as if he didn't know if he wanted to make a musical game or a 2nd to one of his older ones, but on the way failed at both

Luckilly I'm a pianist and a violinist... but what about the normal gamers? =\ hitting random and jumping around is barely called playing...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
hmm... after played the game.... i'd still give 5/5 because it's a nerd book but... it's just way too time consuming to make my own music, and if i don't and just press random every time, i feel no achievement for winning the game. there is very little strategy elements in this game in comparison with nerdbook's previous games. it definitely needs some improvements.

I liked the idea behind the game, but the game itself? Not so much. 64 levels is a bit too much, especially with that kind of repetitive gameplay. Difficulty on any #-8 level is way too hard. Ironically, at some point I turned off my headphones because the bland-one-quarter-at-a-time music got really annoying. Finally I think the inventory system could get a rehaul as it's hard to know what bonuses you already have, and what bonuses you could get from what you have in it.

The rest note/singlet trick doesn't work. The screen fills with red skull/crossbones blocks that I can't pass, I slow down and the ghosts speed up.

I usually like nerdook-games, but not this one...
He slackened a little bit - the first games were great but they got worse from game to game.
Didn't he announce his next game will take some time but be great again?

Quite a good and unique game... hey wait! aren't ghosts transparent and can go through walls and blocks...? Oh well...Never mind

you should let us set the length of the notes so that the rhythm for all the songs are not as rigid. But I guess doing that would be hard for various reasons.
