Geez, Aunt Matilda. Since when do exterminating hordes of innocent ghosts who just want some shiny stars to enlighten their existence a good way of teaching someone a lesson? Just leave Jake the necklace and have done with it! :D Excellent game, it's quite the Nerdook style of surprising you with a unique gameplay style. 5/5

dammit after the update this game is 10 times more difficult and lost its replay value, im sorry 1/5, before the update however it was an easy 5/5

i have to agree with jenny and aisard
i played it before the update and it was a bit lenghty but way more interesting then a easy 16 lvl game

cleared about 60-70% of the game when it was 64 stages long... now theres only 16 left?! i mean, sure, it was a bit long at first... but what about the time i invested in thatttt DX the ending was funny though =D

5/5 awesome game in all aspects. Just becuase i cant compose music well dosent take away from the game. But if I did, then holy crap i would have a blast!

there are so many bugs! Navigation on composing screen could work with arrow keys.
Navigation between Line 1 and 2 does not work!! Also, the game does not play the last note of the last bar. It should possible to set more than one chord per bar. Good idea but you still have to work it out

its the most silly idea to change it to a much shorter game. the old version is challenging and you need to find the trick to beat the game, but it has been a very simple game now. maybe i should say its not a game but a media player. the game idea is genius but the defense part and the music part cant balance perfectly.

This game is epic.Kinda sad that I just need 6 levels to finish then I stop playing for 5 hours came back and nothings save too bad for me. 5/5

Thanks for all the comments about the menu theme tune to the game, it's called "Pandora," and it's one of my piano improvisations from my album 'Paradigm'. Thanks for creating this game, Nerdook, I really enjoyed playing it. We're all looking forward to more games from you. Good luck in the eden competition, you have my support! :)

What does the major vs. minor chord change? Also what to is the difference with the black keys? Both need to be added to the tutorial!!

i love the theme song. i just startet the game, minimized the browser and did my college stuff while listening to the song.

hit + if you think the game needs:
A) The Ability to make notes different lengths of time
B) The ability to make 2 chords per bar

instead of turbo, can't you make it so you can set your own tempo, which would make it much easier to make your own songs.

First the game was impossible, now its so easy it isn't a game. There's potential to use blocks to maze the ghosts, but instead they are all let nearly directly to the stars again.

For people like me who like composing music this game is great but for your average gamer they have no idea on music and that so they just click the random music button. Things that could be better: add quavers and minums, and make it easier for the average gamer to have fun.

what the hell? finished this game halfway through this morning before going to work (coming late), now my savegame is lost?
NEEEEEERDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK!

I loved the music, I really did. But the game itself was confusing and severely lacking. The tutorial left many questions and as the game went on none of them were answered. I had to pair up with another player just to learn how to play. The random mode was not efficient as it could be and if someone dared to try making their own song for it, it became quite a hassle by the middle of the game. Also, The lack of control was disappointing and frustrating. This could have been a great game if you had worked on it a bit more.

This is either way too complex and time consuming if you are playing it properly, or way too easy if you pump up your weapon damage, use random music and stand on the spawn block while the ghosts get destroyed without having to move.

It stinks that when I wake up and wanted to continue playing, the whole game is reset. However, I do like the fact that it's now simpler. I am also fortunate to have taken shots of my music before I left. :)

@squishybrick: who cares... my fav music of all time is canon in D, and the players created not one, but TWO versions for me. oh joy...!! :p

As said by others, great game for music composer/lovers, but probably not so fun for others... But I suppose that someone trying it with that game name will assume music lving is a must
Oh and BTW, inter-level music is very nice :)

You can create your own music to play the game better!!... Except... You have to play specific music to actually make the game work, completely restricting and killing your creativity, and if that's not bad enough it's really frustrating and takes long to make this "forced masterpiece" just for ONE specific level.. Wow.. This game is basically mocking music itself.. I find the cat dancing on the piano a very sad and ironic scene... Shame on you, nerdook..

Random cat music + Wooden leg as a weapon + closes adding weapon damage = all maps gold rating from first or second time. -_-

The number under the notes is the number of block that the note can create.Using notes with no numbers is the same of use rest!Cat easily beat first 6levels.Quavers are missing:'(.Lots of love for the piano playing cat!:D
