Fun fact: you need 108 stars to fully upgrade everything.
58 of those have to come from Survival mode, and the other 50 you can get through the other levels. Tips: Gas is awesome except for the fact that it needs to be fully upgraded (or at least fire2) &support from gas and Stun mines. A good strat on large spaced out levels is fire2+ice2/stun2mines. Mines are useless unless they are stun and with fire2 gas. Prawn and hulk drones are awesome together. Turrets have 3 forms: Upgraded: Rapid damage that covers corners; shoot vertically and horizontally but not diagonally. Rocket: Stuff in a corner with your drones. Watch the rockets and damage fly. Blasters strike well against armor and have a 2 square radius, making them good for tightly packed levels. Chargers: I never found a good use except for maybe a single booster to help give me money, but the special upgrade that comes with them is outstanding.

My strat, a few money makers in each of the 4 corners. Then the entire top row becomes Hulk Drones, then the left and right sides become Rocket Turret. Who needs strategy when you have giant robots and missiles?

heroes: hmm, I could shoot the evil mastermind and kill him for good, but there's tiny flies over here shooting at me for 1 damage! AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

I never played your games because I never liked the concept ________ took my ________ and I got bored of playing one of them. But boy, You changed.... And Its a good change! Its concept updated and your new games caught my eye! So I tried one of them and it was great! (the only old one played that I liked was ultimate Santa battle) Great game! 100/100 a+ =D

So annoying that you'll NEVER EVER get that one last star... You'll always spend all 3 stars on your next upgrade and be left with "2" remaining, unable to finish out the 3 for an additional upgrade.

Tip: freeze traps are amazing at getting annoying heroes to cluster together. I first pick a killzone that is the longest stretch of track I can find, alternate freeze traps/bomb mines along the entire track and put laser turrets on either end of the strip. Works like a charm.

I think that one should be able to select a priority target for Drones, otherwise they just kindof target whatever. Priority Targeting would make Drones more effective IMO
