If anyone wants to know what's probably the best strategy for normal fights: get all archers. Ideally longbow archers or fire monks/archers. Your hero blocks the enemies (use defense/champion tactics whenever possible) and your ranged units almost never die. I've been winning most of my battles without any units dying (other than hero, of course.) Hell a couple I never got anything hit. Downsides? The beast becomes very hard, Pestilent is much harder and Death is just derpy and awkward.

I think instead of giving you nothing but money at the end of a boss fight, it should give you a choice between 3 or 4 cards, as it is hard to collect an army of 1-3 units.

Made the Beast boss fight possible with this 2 bull riders, 1 charging minotaurs, siege ballistas, 2 elite archers, 2 elite ninjas, 1 elite swordsman, 1 flame archer, 1 elite spearman. Did it on my first try...

I managed to complete the game and get the hard badge. Here is my tip for the game: get archers. Lots and lots of archers. Let the frontline to your general and maybe also to polearm slayer and silent assassin (one of each is enough). A healer will also boost your whole army so its good to get one.

To beat the final boss, you just have to keep grinding until the game gives you something good like Blade Berserker, which heals when it deals damage.

It would be really great if you could hold on to a few cards more than what your hand could hold. Keep two cards as reserve and switch them in and out .

I don't get this, i've been grinding for well over and hour and have found my most succesful strategy is just to select whichever choice is on the left ASAP and just try to play the games as quickly as possible and hope i occassionally get decent cards.

The general lives as long as most of your troops are available, and has no resupply cost, making him very nice except the fact that he's un-upgradeable. Other than that, I like that if you have 1 resupply left, it'll spawn the unit that just died for 1 instead of going negative.

I really wish I could stop my guys from charging the enemy tower. Especially at the beginning of the fight. The only times I've lost are when my guys fight under the enemy tower for most of the battle. And retreat cards either don't appear or they appear near the end when I've pretty much lost already.

My advice is simply: Go for 2 DPS archers such as Tiger Archers/Goat Bowmen, 2-3 Tanks like Armoured Dragons and Stone Golems, 1 Tank DPS like the Treant and Poison/Lifesteal to make up the rest e.g. Venomous Scorpion, Blade Berserker and Vampire. If you want to play it safe and have a damage soaker that is faster use ninjas. The dodge soaks up a lot of arrows. Always use the champion buff when your champion is about to die to maximise his usefulness (he is invincible when you use it) and use heals to help your tanks. Order of skill usefulness: Champion buff>Team heal=Red dps buff>Brown AOE=Yellow Storm> Kill one at random. Also NEVER get the wolf pack. It's a trap that will get your reinforcements to drop rapidly since the AI loves spiders that counter it and overall the enemy DPS will rip them to shreds anyway.

One strategy is the Stone Golem, Poisonous Scorpion and 8 Goat Bowmen Strategy. Your bowmen heals the golem tank while dealing damage and the scorpion poisons opponent tremendously. Optimally you want 2-2-6 in your team.

"Maybe you want Veteran Archers lvl 7 for your money?" - "No, I don't. Anything else?" - "OK, then maybe you want Veteran Archers lvl 7?" - "Certainly not. Is that all you've got?" - "Wait, let me find you something. I think you could use Veteran Archers lvl 7." - "Are you f**king kidding me?!"
