If you start off too well, you are actually at a huge disadvantage. Pushing the enemy all the way back to their building is likely to severely increase your own casualties. And I never seem to get a retreat when that happens...

Pherhaps we should be able to command our army to hold position? I can do too well and have that annoying tower shoot at me while my troops die, and i cant (reliably) call them back without the power up. (Then again, maybe that is part of the strategy)

Even more fun.
@Sardonica, Gj, you got as many negatives as i did and you hated only on me, if you haven't seen my badges in comparison, maybe you should just go live on an island before commenting, ofc the game isn't perfect is that not what I was stating, and it is that bad, ive given my reasons more then once but what it comes down to is, Good dev does NOT always = good game. Even worse is its most likely the same people doing the same disliking. What, do I have to say that I like the music and the oversize creatures n stuff? That's more the icing on the s**t cake now, not actual game play.

@chaingangsucks so by seeing a good dev makes a good game, Why do all these die hard fans not see that this is around a 2.5/5 game? It has a horrible RNG factor that conTROLLS a player so you have to bend over to its whim? Imagine in ANY game that you can cast magic that your spells come to you randomly in mind. Any RTS game that only allows you to send 3 randomly picked units from your army. And last but not least ANY game that you're a single hero that is amazing, make them a pushover. ANY HERO. That is how this game makes me feel to the rest of the games out there.

lol haters gonna hate. Continue bending over for a dev and defend their position. All I said is this the worst one yet so far out of the 5/5 games, I even summarized most of what people has said is bad about this, all the haters can still hate. (Btw, imagine if Aragorn from LotR was a pushover, that's your General.) The only real counter argument I've seen so far is somebody mentioning that there should be a sequel because this had POTENTIAL. I'd love to see improvements to this but its a done game, Go ahead dislike but this is all just opinion on a mediocre game made by a great Dev.

I would kind of like an easier way to make a deck to upload instead of having to grind to get the specific cards you want, then beat the whole round, and only then upload.

This is from a first play attempt and I really don't see why my first comment got such a negative feedback, ofc I hated but really? It's like people defending Sonic 06 saying its ok to be bad. I seriously think that this is just THAT bad, its not like Dev's mess up once in awhile. The real point is though that I say the Dev just seriously goofed on this in comparison to so many other of his creations and could not have followed a more steady and well done example of his own.

has made previous games, a better example of this would be orbital onslaught, in that you could specify what you even want to send out from all to nothing at all, in otherwords, this game is like the black
sheep of the dev's creations and should have been planned more then it has been, id say a fair 2/5 is better then what I was intentionally going to give the game, only because of the first level BS I bumped
into. After playing the game the only problem I continuously bump into is the RNG never even thinking twice of favoring a outcome for me. Imagine in any game, your means of attacking was a pair of six sided
dice, every single roll you had to make was a seven or higher. That's how the game is reacting TOWARDS me.

To emphasize what happend more instead of looking like the A-hole i still am, From every other game Nerdook has made this is BY FAR the worst out of all of them, the RNG did NOT favor me WHATSOEVER during the first battle (both archers and a charging unit against a spearman, both charging units or ANOTHER ARCHER to another spearman) leaving me to start a war of already loosing and no hope. Seriously though, this could have been SO much better in turns of how Nerdook...

Make this into a super-better sequel, I know that's hard since I'm about ready to say that the game is worth a good 9/10, but the best thing I see in it is the potential... for better versions, yes, but also even within the game as is, there are many choices and whatnot that will create radically different styles of play.

Nerdbook always makes worthy games. His art-style and creativity of short storied RPG elemented games are why I come on Kon.

Great game. Although, it would be nice for a "build your own deck" system. Either where every card you obtain enters a side-deck thing and you can build your deck from that pool whenever. Another idea would be to have a certain condition to unlock a "Free mode". Like, after you get every achievement, or your deck is all 5-star cards, you get to build a deck from any card in the game.
I'm "done" with the game, and now i want to just mess around to see what would and wouldn't work, but i don't want to sacrifice my ability to get a good group. (E.g what would it be like to have all wolf packs? How would an all-death-priest group fair against Death? I'd like the ability to experiment.

What's obvious is that Archers beat Infantry, Infantry beats Spears, Spears beat Cavalry, and Cavalry beat Archers. What's not obvious is that both generals are just overpowered Infantry. So if you don't have the right "counter-soldier," just default to Archers and retreat often, allowing both your "extra" archer and your tower to defeat the general a few times to give you the slight advantage to beat the level.

With only one unit left on each side, I used the "instantly kill 1 enemy" bonus. Apparently a tie is no better than a loss; I was "defeated" by the remaining non-army.

im quite sure hte deamon balrogs aren't regenerating from fires.... it shows damage numbers when they attack which are too low (and too many) to be caused by an enemy's attack

pretty good. but does get repettative. you should have more than the 3 boxes for upgrades and have there be more varity in it. 3.5/5 good game though

All I would like to point out is how lovely the music is, especially the menu music. What's it called, and is it possible for us to procure the track?

Argh! My unbeatable army (for starters//1-2 hours game play) almost managed to take down nerdooks 1st army... only his ballista siege weapon survived and took my knight out! Gotta say I do love the 3 rare cards in his deck, even though they were no match for me muahahaha!

I was wondering are all those armies you are fighting before boss are took from 'transfered' folder or are those randomly generated using existing usernames?

another suggestion regarding SKILLS:
Instead of making a skill system, maybe you could add a BONUS for REPEATEDLY USING a certain skill during the match. this way you can indivudally set up a STRATEGY for a singe game (e.g in one match you have to spam the reinforcement skill, in another heal etc.) and it PREVENTS getting stuck with a certain irreversible skill setup. Heres some examples:
Lightning: 1st use - 5 seconds, 2nd one - 7 seconds
Attack: 1st use - 50% move, 15% atk, 5 seconds , 2nd one - 55% move, 22% atk, 6 seconds and so on...
Each skill gets the bonus to a MAXIMUM of 4 and the bonus resets when using a different skill.
Thanks for your attention.

Nerdook is by far my favorite flash game producer. It has unique characters and style. Thanks for all the effort you put in your games Nerdook.
