I cannot play. The game loads in "Chapter 11 25/25 hats 9999999 gold" and clicking play does nothing. "Reset All" just refreshes the page to the same stats. :/

You can do this with another team to, but the thresholds will be different, so don't consult my little guide. Also, the most important part of my strategy is that you get the right levels. Some levels over 500 are easier than the ones at 100.

Tips on getting above challenge rank 500: You need to make a team of only grey knights and equip them with all of the hats that up defense, plus the dragon helm for a character in the middle of your team (this will make them slightly behind others in the charge, and will most likely not be damaged. Second: You need to choose the exact right level to do. Here's my recommendations; At first you can do any level, right up to CR90, however once you pass that don't do any levels other than ancient lizard, demon ox, Dr. Mekaninny and the rat bandits, fight these until CR 150. After CR 150 you need to stop doing the lizard and bandits, from then on just do Demon Ox and Mekaninny, Even at CR 573 neither of them can beat me. Now if neither of them are on the selection screen there's one thing you can do to get them there; You press start level and go to the character editing screen, here you need to just press the back button and you have a new set of levels. This lets you get very far.

Is there a trophy after the Skull King? I can't help but notice that the center of the trophy screen looks like a slot for one.

Coming back to this game years later, I do have a bit of a gripe with the difficulty. I was able to sweep the game with just infantry, ending with 1 legendary and 4 elites, and never once had all of my units die, all with a sub-optimal team comp and normal tactics. For that matter, I also disliked the lack of player interaction beyond creating the team; choosing general tactics sometimes doesn't feel like enough. Even still, though, the game is simplistic and fun while still providing for a decent-length playthrough.
