@RageGuy: That protest does not make any sense with the severe limits imposed, and I think that if anyone but Nerdook had made this game, you wouldn't be arguing. This game gives you five slots for mercenaries. Only five, no more no less. It's not as though more money would make me capable of spamming my enemy with endless drones or something. It would just allow me to compete, instead of being smashed because of the severe monetary deficit I'm seeing by level 5. There's challenge, and then there's, "Ugh, f*** this game". This game hits the latter note.

U should be able to replay lvls after beating them to earn extra cash cause it just gets to hard to buy new units to win when u dont have enough cash
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@zerocreature: if you have enough to buy anything you want, then where's the challenge? part of the game is to choose what to buy and what not to buy.

Sorry, but I don't think that the rewards are high enough. I've tried playing and replaying the game bout three times now, and even when you beat the opponent with perfect HP, in only a few rounds, it's still not even enough to upgrade your whole squad. Somethin' ain't right about that. Could be a great game, but needs just a liiiittle more cash dispensed for my tastes. And why would you handicap someone by collecting as tax etc, etc, when they're obviously doing poorly already? I understand the desire to put a penalty against people who are lazy and grind by losing purposefully, but maybe you could limit it to three three losses on the same level instead of three losses total. Actually- no- just make the rewards a little bit better so that if I absolutely smash my opponent, I feel like I actually got paid well instead of just... "meh". 3/5 this time. :/

Nerdook, everytime you make a game, everyone working at kong has to stop all the projects they're working on and play your game. THEN, they have to make badges for your game. THEN, they gotta play the game again to get those badges on your game. THEN... they wait for your next game... nicely done.

What this game needs is: 1- The ability to substitute units without additional cost. If we could bank some, or get a refund when swapping it would allow more strategy in selection and deployment. 2 - Infinite play mode. I really want to be able to take my army to random planets or play against posted rogue armies over and over once I get a good setup. An Infinite play mode would go a long way to improve the replay value of the game.

a good startegy is too only get 2 turrets (any kind), 2 raiders and one powerfull unit
the turrets and powerfull unit stand guard while the raiders just sneak in for the kill

Didn't really like it :\ I unlocked the rocket mercs and never had the opportunity to buy them once, they were never there...
I had 2 tanks, a sentry, a medium and a heavy and got annihilated by something like a tank, a gunship and 3 mediums...
Didn't really see how it was fair tbh but decent game all the same.

You ruined the game with the "3 strikes and you're out" rule, so I make one tiny mistake when starting off then I have to do 10 levels again just so I can earn the same amount of money. Lame, I can't play this.

Just a suggestion, could we turn off the damage numbers? (eg the white numbers under units signalling the amount of dmg taken) I was spamming gunships in a snowy terrain (where air units take constant dmg) and when i got to about 10 of them, it started lagging like hell. I think it is because of the massive rate the number 1's keep appearing under the gunships. I have evidence cos when i fight in magma or mountain terrain, it doesn't lag no matter how many i spam. Hope you'll update soon!

ho and samurais are the most pointless units ever, along with turets (you have to go all attack cause the AI usually has much higher lvl units making impossible to endlessy defend) sry for double post
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Easy game, didn't die once, the secret is basically gunships, since they keep going back and forth they don't die as quick and end up massing up creating an endless barrage of bullets, even 1 gunship is enough really, I used 2 for the last guy and along with a raider placed behind him and any 2 good defence unit its a cakewalk

To earn quick cash, just quit every time. This helps especially after you've already lost three times. It's most useful when you can't afford to pay for characters that are the same level as your opponent :)

Ack! Want to load my first army to play multiplayer... is there a way to do this? Please message me and explain it to me if there is. Thank you!

Boring. Fame is pointless. Being able to upgrade your army to match the enemy's requires losing to farm money. Can't even select units you want without "rerolling" which costs money. No explanation of the different terrains. Clunky 8-bit esque graphics. No real plot to speak of. In other words, not a fan.

@steven, the enemy has a lot of light units so load up on drones and gunships with a non rocket sentry(not really needed).

I want to play this game again, except this time with balanced units.
The moment you complete a level, the unit you get are probably twice as good as the last
