Like about 50% of Nerdook's games - great at the start and then it just gets ridiculously difficult because of constraints which can't really be offset even by good strategy.

AMAZING GAME!!! But like everyone before said, too short. Needs some replay or maybe the ability to generate a random enemy army? Also if you start adding stuff, consider a barracks to store a few spare units in.

Galactic Councilman #1: "It sure is taking this dude a long time to kill his target..."
G.C. #2: "Well hows about we fire up the orbital bombardment system? It'll hurt both of them! That'll sure put a fire under the mercenary's butt!!"
G.C. #1: "Wait... so we can kill anyone we want to at any time using a satellite?! Why the hell did you insist on hiring the mercenaries??"
G.C. #2: "For funsies..."

Fun game, I beat it without losing once. Was really upset about the fact that I couldn't play anymore on the character and team I spent an hour and half with..... :( Please let us keep playing to test out new strategies with different characters after we have beaten the game!!!!!

Pretty good game, not one of nerdook's best ever, but I'm having fun with it. I was a suggestion somewhere on here that I uprated that, when you get down to it, just let's you start with your dream army every time after 5 wins. Given enough time and patience, anyone could get 5 wins even with the tax after 3 losses. My suggestion to that we be given the option to pick an addition unit every time we win, and have it placed in a list with 5 slots for our bonus units that we get to chose from and pick whenever we can buy mercs. After 5 wins, we would need to start replacing units, obviously. IF there were to ever be a PvP feature, we could use those units for that, and for that, be able to level them past 9 via a survival mode for PvP. In survival, we would essentially have gone rouge, and the Galactic Counsel is your opposition and you fight waves of randomly selected player armies in gradually increasing difficulties. Plus if you think this would be fun.

I wish you could have separate merc squads so you dont have to have to just have one you could have different ones so you can take on different types of units easier instead of changing your deck to adjust to the next bounty

Great game. It'd be nice if you added a confirmation button on the 'Quit', or atleast moved it away from the fast forward button, especially if we only have three lives...

Goes from 0 to 100 way too fast, and the enemy maxes out so there is no possible way to have anything but a constant disadvantage.

on the mercs for hire the raider description is RAIDERS can deploy, anywhere but cannot capture territory. This naturally makes them asshats, wait asshats?

This game could use an endless mode/replay with same units; they just random units, otherwise 6/5 epic game. How do you make them so fast?!

Nerdook, if I have any money after mother is done visiting I am definitely buying Kreds just to donate, God knows I have gotten hours of free entertainment at your expense.

those robo-mercenaries might be effective against humans and other robot mercenaries, but against a sword-wielding-sushi-eating-ninja-hamster, they're practically worthless.

and btw, does anyone else have the same problem where there game file is deleted after completion, and the army URL does not work? http://www.kongregate.com/games/nerdook/orbital-onslaught?army=374448

I miss the the older games where you could re-do older missions and stock pile extra gold. Gonna take out a level 7 with level 6 equipment, cause I can only upgrade 1 of my units?

This is a fairly good game, but I can't help but feel that it's a bit weaker than your other recent games. The game is a bit slow even when sped up, and except for deploying counter units at the beginning of the fight, there's not a lot of strategy. The units also get expensive rather quickly, meaning that I'm almost always running an army that has half the units at a lower level than the enemy's.

this game would be so much better if you could replay the level to test new units, or even, when you finish the game you could keep plying to lvl up the units or try onether ones.
also there's one time i was loosing the match and i would loose if it wasn't for the orbital strike, so i think it should be removed, i mean how bad can they stall? when you are owning them there's no stalling or comeback

There should be more levels, units, maybe some buildings would do the trick,a multiplayer and...a replay level button?`
