Nice game... Pretty easy strategy to beat it (although I doubt this is an optimal strategy). Have light~medium units until you get to sentries. Then have at least 3 turrets in your party (swap 1 turret for rocket against vehicles and 1 turret for mortar to leapfrog to enemy base). Your other two units should be rocketmen. Then swap a rocketman for a Mammoth then a Walker (to capture spaces). The last unit could be raiders because backdoor OP. Orbital bombardment quite literally does the job for you.

I usually dislike games that don't forgive mistakes.. Like, if you're out of money and with the wrong combinaison of units against an enemy, you could be just stuck there and keep losing. But after I lost my 3rd life against lvl 7 enemy, all I want is to try again. Fun little game ^^ But it's a shame the game has to end and you can't keep playing :(

my base got taken out but before the territory was covered in blue he had one health and was orbitaly struck. I won. That's a bug right, can you fix it other wise great game with an overly harsh difficulty curve 4.25/5, good job

this is ridiculous while i have units spawning in, getting killed instantly by the milliion turrets they have, they're spawning MORE turrets all the way to my character, and I get killed because i can't take down their turrets lol. I guess I should get more turrets then! 5/5 btw.

fun game at the start, dificulty escalates too fast and lack of replay-ability of lower level anemies breaks the game...

Is it just me or does speeding up the game not speed up the time spawns with more that 1 unit in them (like light units). Because wehn i speed the game up it takes longer that one turn for them to all spawn, where as non-sped up they all spawn in 1 turn worth of time.

"You've served me well for 6 wars now, but you're fired."
"But why general?! I have a wife and family to feed!"
"The next level has spider drones and gunships."
"Can't I take a vacation day or something instead? Or go on leave?"
"I don't want to pay you for days you're not on the field of battle."
**Two Days Later**
"Alright you can come back now, we need infantry to outmaneuver their bombers."
"I already have a new job, general."
"What?!"
"Yeah... I'm a bomber pilot now. See you later, general."

Not a big fan of the fact I can't keep some units in reserve. Which by reserve I mean they don't get deployed but I can put them in my army between levels without having to rebuy them. Without this feature I feel like the game is punishing me for playing the way I want to and not creating some sort of spreadsheet of strengths and weaknesses. Not to mention the three strike system (I know you don't actually lose if you run out of lives) more or less forbids you from trying new units more specialized units.

stupid. you shouldn't have lives and then your whole game restarts. dumbest idea you put into the game. it is great though gameplay wise but not the lives thing. never do that again

"Raider: Can be deployed anywhere, but cannot take over territory. This naturally makes them asshats." Best unit description ever.

Typical nerdook crap - good idea, but bad execution.
The biggest flaw imo - lack of reserve pool, for currently unused troops.

The enemy advances far too fast compared to the player. Money reward is so low as to be a joke once past level 5, 3 cumulative strike = game over harsh. 3/5 still

Other functions like allowing us to send troops anywhere (by using the same method but instead with the squares), allowing us to control the units, or allowing us to take enemy territory around the leader ( to block them from spawning and, if the enemy doesn't have any territory over, a win -- else there's no point in being able to capture more territory other than allowing us to spawn troops on a different course (which i already told you how to change) ).

The game could use some tweaks. Like others recommended, a replay function would be awesome. However this is not needed if the enemy wouldn't just have fully maxed out units, because we can't get that with the cash we earn. And Imo the gunships are OP as they're quite tanky (250 hp at lvl 4) they do quite some damage (10 and fast fire rate) and they don't stop to attack (which allows them to move behind your tanky units and kill your snipers). Thus level 4 with 4 gunships was just too hard for me. nonetheless a good game.

Ending was a little weak. I never got to use all the units or test different strategies. There should be a sandbox or replay levels or hard mode at the end. Also, I thought if I went rogue I would get to fight more like in Nerdook's other games (end now or continue the fight).

One thing I like about a lot of nerdook's games are that they have user-created armies that can be played against, or characters you can import. I also adore the art style. Keep it up!

The number of lives take away enjoyment from this game. I quit the battle because I forgot to exchange a unit and I lost a life. It's not fun to know that you'll have to start over if you're not the best at the game.

I always love the simpleness and easiness of your games. As others have said having something to play for money would be nice for people with specific builds. But if you go with a well balanced build you should have no problem with money. One thing though lvl up cost the same so it is cheaper to lvl only a couple unit and wait to lvl you others till you get to a higher lvl to save money. since lvling from 1 to 11 is the same money as 10-11. Cant wait for your next game, Keep up the great work.

Very easy game. If you can't seem to win, just buy a bunch of defensive units and wait for the orbital bombardment. For some reason the bombardment attacks the enemy leader more frequently, so you'll win almost always.
