If you have a bonus for words 'containing' a certain letter, you DON'T get the bonus if it starts with that letter. Worth noticing!

Simply an amazing game! It was interesting to discover how little my vocabulary was :P. Grats on your new wife, by the way! I thought getting married would drawn a developer away from games, but it seems it caused a new, wonderful game for nerdook!

Success! - which probably has a different score value.. but as for "kangaroo" with no other special power-up values added is worth 784!

I'm already addicted to this game. Honestly, fantastic job. Some of the new games that come out are always lame/glitchy/buggy/have horrible graphics, etc. I like how simple this is. Lucky lady you have. I wish I could find a boyfriend that made ME video games! ^_^

Developer response from nerdook
"the base score of the word gets multiplied by a square of the word length"
Looks like square of (word length - 1).
Developer response from nerdook
"it's a scrabble dictionary... formal names are not likely to be in"
Unfortunately scrabble dictionaries are limited to 15 letter words, but ventriloquizing with 5x multiplier was a nice shot:)

Can we get some idea of how it scores words? It looks like longer words are almost always better than words with higher-scoring letters, but it's unclear exactly why. Does the base score of the letters get multiplied by the word length?

When typing in via the keyboard, it frequently loses letters. I find that I have to type very deliberately (read "slowly"), and, even then, it frequently misses what I type. Also, chiming in with other folks in reporting that bonus awards are frequently not given.

And a fresh breeze filled the room. Was getting a bit tired of all the crazy demons, samurais and whatnot. As for this game I'm not that good at spelling, but I think it's spelled two... jk, four stars.

Sometimes the bonus for using exactly one (or exactly two) vowel(s) fails to be awarded, despite the word meeting the criterion.

in response to nerdooks comment on 8008man2's comment, this game is set up very much like the game boggle even the 3 min timer and in boggle the letters have to be adjacent to the letter chosen before it.

When the bonus is for using the letter "L", could you make it a capital L instead of a lowercase l? For ease of reading purposes.

Great game! 5/5 Any chance of instructions on how the scoring works, or even better show the score before submitting the word?

A good game, I guess. What I really like about word games is the -restrictions-; that is, you're given a set amount of letters to scramble and unscramble, or in this case a grid, but you can only hop from adjacent letters. The fact that this game is so free-range, where I can make any word I want, makes it a little boring. 3/5

Congrats nerdook on your lovely new wife! Maybe if you spell her name (Carrot) you should give mondo bonus points? Anyway, fun little game. Love the frantic fast pace action of the first game type.

Excellent game, but I think there should be some clearer instructions. I was thinking that every letter had to be adjacent to another, but it turns out they can be anywhere on the board.
why would they have to be adjacent? lol. and yup, they can be combined from anywhere on the board. you can even type the letters in through the keyboard.
