I love the game, but I feel like more minesweeper elements would make it easier to unlock the other campaigns. As it is, I'm blindly clicking and hoping that I find the daimyo, mainly because it is quite hard to see the footprints in the squares. I think even doing something as simple as darkening the squares would improve the games rating. As it stands, 4/5, but I know nerdook won't disappoint. ;)
check the marketplace! there's an upgrade to buy that allows you to see adjacent footprints, and also footprints are obvious once the mook on the same square are defeated.

really needs a way to upgrade your compainons hp (by that i mean with exp as the only upgrade that remotly helps lifespan is the mooks dodge)

Sometimes footprints go off screen, then come back. Also, if you get down to zero clicks, then buy new clicks in the market ("time"), it will not let you use them. Other than that, great game, really like the method of using mana to revive allies. Also, I'm failing to beat nightmare with 5 stars in the end (hardest is beating a level with 10 clicks left)... but I will get it eventually!

As are most games that combine minesweeper with an interesting idea, this game is pretty good. I really enjoyed how you changed up the graphics, as I was admittedly getting a little sick of your normal graphics! One thing I found was immediately as I entered the upgrade page, the upgrade description was talking about a monk upgrade, even though I hadn't even purchased the monk yet. It's not a big problem, just bringing it to your attention. Really enjoyed the game, nerdook!

The game is really excellent, but in some missions the Daimyo just seem to have disappeared, even when you have cleared all tiles....

You can finish a level "imperfectly" by having less silver and experience than the maximum, and never be able to try it again or gain these resources in another way. This makes each step harder if you don't do it perfectly. There's, as far as I'm concerned, not a single way to reset your upgrades (aside from, of course, resetting the campaign), so if you chose something badly you're stuck with that until the end. I don't fully understand how this works out. It's kind of a likable game, but being unable to progress if you run out of clicks every time feels kind of sad.
yep. on the other hand, the campaign is short (8 levels), and I really wanted to make a game where the player's choice actually has some weight. hence, you get to choose when to take on the daimyo, and the choice actually matters.

This is a good game overall, but some things bother me. I don't like that clicking is no risk, so once you find the Daimyo you always want to just click randomly to get XP or money. There should be risk, such as after finding him you automatically fight any mooks you find, or maybe if you don't fight him within a few turns he moves. Second, I don't like how ally HP is set up. Once they die in a battle, they get fully rejuvenated for the next, so before starting the Daimyo battle it's best if all of your allies die in a mook battle. I feel it's not good design to have a situation where you want your allies to get killed.
good points overall. i'll see if i can work things out. also, there's an exp bonus for every click you have left, but i guess i didn't make that very clear.

Nice game. It's a little unfortunate when the Daimyo spawns in a booby-trap square, but to me, that's just a smart Daimyo. Wondering if the stat increases that you buy with xp are +20% each (not sure about the ones for dodge, critup and armour).

I would suggest that maybe you get to keep a portion--even 10%--of what you make in silver and XP when you get defeated. Because I keep dying against the final shogun and it's very frustrating to think of having to wipe my save and start from the beginning.

Something weird goes on for me during daimyo battles--once the daimyo appears, the mana bar starts losing energy even though I'm not using special abilities, and it actually goes down to -3%!
Also I think you should be able to replay earlier maps in order to gain more silver and experience--at this point I'll never be able to unlock the third companion, because I don't have enough XP and I've already beaten everyone else but the shogun.
i designed the game in such a way that you need to make a decision to either specialise or generalise your upgrades within a single campaign... kinda like an overall strategy to the game. that said, i'm considering putting in difficulty levels. come back in a day or so!

So far this game seems very good and very creative, minesweeper combined with an action/adventure theme. An excellent addition to your already fun and addicting games.

First: nerdook games tend to be fantastic and this is no exception. Very creative.
Second: There probably needs to be a bit more explanation about following the footsteps. I am impatient and not a thorough reader and if it is there, I missed it. I doubt I am unique so it may have to be more attention getting.
Third: When you're spending exp on upgrades, if I am going to upgrade something twice, I would rather just click purchase twice, not attack, then purchase, then attack, then purchase.
Fourth: Keep up the awesome work!

I liked the concept, very good. Haven't found any bugs in my play, the only thing I don't like is the fact I can't control the Super Samuria. A lot of times I find my self going "No continue attacking this guy (especially archers), or no don't attack that group right now!" But other than that it is a pretty fun game.

While the price increase of each additional ally is reflected as you buy them (from 10 XP to 25 to 50) the price doesn't ACTUALLY change.. with 32 XP I was able to buy all three allies. Small bug, but Great work once again!
definitely a bug. let me check it out. i'm pretty sure they leave the map, then come back someplace else... whoops! edit: should be fixed now, hopefully.

when we click on a enemy it should probibly FORCE battle. so when you click on it you fight right away (not for the damiao though)

Sometimes I am so blind... Sry Nerdook. This game is nice ^^ I just discovered, that there are also little groups of enemys and not only Daimyos -_- Now I feel stupid for my first comment. So please ignore it.

For me... this game doesnt rock... you lose your score, when you get defeated, but you dont get anything O.o And when I beat someone (for example the first area) I dont even can buy or upgrade something usefull. For my first win I got 2 exp... Yay I can upgrade... NOTHING :-O but the enemys get stronger... For another win I got 0 exp (!!!)... Also the fights are to random. The char dashes into a group of enemys and lose a large amount of hp... and die. And that happens very often and is frustrating. But that all wouldnt be a problem, if we could get a little amount of exp and/or silver even if the char die. I know, that you want to make us think which land we should try to defeat first, but once you killed the wrong, you can reset your save and start a new game.

Very nice game so far! I did find a bug: after you are 'out of moves' and purchase a '1 more click' for 15 silver, you can't use it (unless this was intended).

I've noticed that on the Market, Upgrades that cost $100 are shown as $10. They still show that they cost 100 silver when you look at the description though.

First impression: This rocks. The graphics in this one seem a more "crisp" than your other games. I like itll give more feedback and I continue to play.
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed it so far. I decided to go for a slightly different look for this game, it's more silhouettes and flowing battle action. Let me know if there's anything to be improved or fixed!
