I actually really liked this game. The upgrade system needs to keep the stuff you purchased, but other than that I had fun and enjoyed it thoroughly.

Skills; Souldrinker and Chakra prove invaluable. Also, HELLA luck. The Shogun came out after 2 seconds and barely touched me.

No combination of clicks or luck or upgrades seems to want to win me the Shogun's map, on NORMAL. I'd say there's something wrong with the game. I'd consider this a stop error. Where's the Balance testing?

When an upgrade is fully purchased, the amount of XP required for the next upgrade is listed as 'undefined'... Not a fatal bug, but some say the word 'undefined' should never appear in a finished product. ;)

If you'll allow some suggestions for a sequel or expansion, I'd like to submit: Make the shop upgrades more like the EXP upgrades, gradient. Next, give the Super Samurai some innate abilities like a dashing slash and a wave stomp for knockback. Those will be free cooldown abilities to give the player a little more to do in combat, more survivablity for our hero, and something else to be upgraded. Next, let consumables be found randomly and possibly sold for silver. Finally, introduce a meditation option to convert Clicks into Health or EXP.

For the "no defeats" badge here are some play tips: buy the monk as quickly as possible then work on your damage, health, attack speed to the third bar on each. Afterwards do the same thing with your monk's attack, dodge, and attack speed to the third bar. Finish the provinces which power up horseman and elite guards first, then the provinces that power up bowmen and swordsman. Leave the all forces gain hit points and there are more forces that spawn provinces for last. With these tips you should be able to finish the game on normal without having been defeated.

I like it, except for the fact that you can't decide to grind earlier if you're stuck in one. Right now, I only have one area to do before the Shogun and can't seem to beat it after a couple of tries, maybe because I didn't buy the right upgrades. Not being able to grind makes me literally stuck there.

My problem with this game is the same with some of your others. There isnt even a freeplay mode or something after you win so that you can get all the upgrades. Getting maxed out is the best part of games like these

Great game, but it will be better if it could be longer. I am a little bit frustrated that it is not possible to upgrade more hero, companions and skills...

BTW Devs, you might want to re-look at the greying out of the bottom section of upgrades when 0 clicks remain. Shouldn't it just be the +clicks inactive? The HP & EXP consumables are purchasable but grey as well.

The regeneration skill doesn't work. Made game extremely hard as this was first upgrade i bought! Fix this game would be better lol.

Didnt unlock other characters, just upgraded samurai and game was quite easy. Last daimyo took couple tries, only place where I was defeated first time actually. But good game! Should be longer though.

@Fhhuber "Use your LIMITED clicks to uncover tiles and find the Daimyo ... then eliminate them" Game doesnt fail, your reading skill however.....

I don't understand why people are complaining about the difficulty. I beat it on my first time through and had a lot of fun doing it. My biggest problem with the game is that it isn't long enough. I want more! Great job!

"You may use your unlimited clicks to find the Daimyo"... You have run out of clicks, level failed -5% exp (if you ever do win) Game fails. 0/5

"Please make this game better, I'm not good enough to complete it!" Seriously, there are plenty of games for casual gamers on Kongregate, not all games need to be adapted for you lot.

Guys, the whole point of the upgrade system is precisely that you *can't* grind your way out of any situation. You have to choose your upgrades wisely and make sure you actually use them so they can repay for themselves. The game is really challenging, but far from being too hard. Overall, very creative and interesting, as Nerdhook games usually are. 5/5

it is instrumental you kill the mooks as soon as possible. This is because those you kill will not appear in the final battle so you can heal in between!

how can you get better when every progress is deleted???? pls change that until than this is not a very good game....

All in all pleasent boredom killer but .... I dont know ... I miss something ;) Bonus points from me for original concept but I was hoping that I can control the samurai myself ...
