One of the best platformers I have seen. It is challenging, fun, makes you think more about it rather then tests skill (which is cool), and interesting from the perspectives.

It may have come out before FEZ, but FEZ was being developed long before this game and the creator talked about it all the time, including in a documentary that came out shortly after this game was released.
Still, it's a really fun game :D

nice fun game and all, and its a cute idea, but why are we moving in 2d, if this is a 3d world? the logic of it all makes my head melt. XD

Very nice, but i would rather use a key ctrl or shift or / to rotate perspectives. Could use a pair like M and N to rotate in different directions.

So what's the secret to the jump on level four. I watched the walkthrough and I tried to copy it but I can never get that second white star.

This was cool and I liked the 3d changing perspectives concept but I would prefer a simple rotate button rather than having to do it manually. It's not always easy to get the perspective you want to 'stick'.

Brilliant concept, very original, great puzzles for each level!
Although it could use a 'Restart Level' option and make separate mute button for music. :)

I like the idea and it is a truly marvelous and novel idea. I however kept having issues with the perspective change. It was sticky and I had a very hard time getting it to the angle I wanted it at. I also had a hard time figuring out which angles were allowed and which weren't. I enjoyed this though overall I give 4/5 stars. If you could just include a little more information or instruction on the perspective changing that would be very much appreciated.

you miss one thing and you have to do the whole level over again. Don't like to spend whatever amount of time just to get to the end and miss one jump or whatever. Big waste of time. Sorry it has badges

Whoah! Blew my mind when I reached the sign that told me to move the camera. I expected that the sign meant I could just shift the camera up but then it rotated it! Nice job!

It may be my age, but I'm having a very hard time with this game....can't adjust the camera in world 2 so I can jump to get even the first star...still going to keep trying, but I think it would be a lot better if you just had a hot key to switch perspectives...

At first, I thought it was your typical platformer game... then everything changed when I read that sign... Beautiful game :D

SPOILER ALERT!!! How to beat the end boss: Turn the main platform around until you see that one of the Moons is blue. Guide the Dark Soul King above the Moon and when he is about to strike down on you, move away. Do this three times and you beat him. It's best to avoid the King on the first one because you can lose two lives and still beat him.

@scorchx You're a moron. Fez did come out after this game, but development started far before this game came out. It is highly likely Sky Islands is a ripoff of Fez.

I hope this guy got a cut of the profits from Fez, Fez is clearly ripping on the concepts of this game, which came out first, BTW.

I hate these kind of "switchable" platformers because my brain can't keep up. I blame my own inability and not the game though.
