the biggest part of your own losses is dome by the motherships becouse they are a giant trap they explode when you capture them and if you leave you get shot down

this game is stupid i had fun up to the last 2 levels of the game which are impossible to beat on anything but easy even after trying 37 times

Is anyone else having technical difficulties? I can play Solarmax 2, but not this one. I've tried it on Safari, Google Chrome, and Firefox, but nothing works.

Actually the last one is pretty simple...keep/capture Earth, Moon, 3 Laser Stations, and the Shipyard...the Laser defense will be able to hold off the Motherships as Earth, Moon, and the Shipyard produce more ships. Once you get enough (e.g Maximum of 140) attack each Mothership. Oh! And also...this is for Easy Difficulty.

Aaaaaah the last level was reaaaallly difficult, the way i finally figured it out was to capture the laser and the earth (having to colonize the Earth bugs me though lol), and the immediately sending as many ships as possible to the laser that is under attacked (all 75 ships + all the produced ships), and then defending the other targets of the mothership WHILE capturing the moon, then taking the third laser WHILE DEFENDING THAT GODDAMN SHIPYARD, and if you can control the shipyard and the 3 lasers, you need to find a window to launch a massive attack on the left ship which will burn your population and leave you defenseless for a while, and if you can survive this, its easy, BUT DAMN

@Tgedati: No reason to rage. The mothership can be easily tackled, by always pre-emptig its attacks. After taking over your initial planet, attack the planet, that the mothership is going to attack. The distance to the planet group is the motherships weakness und has to be abused. By always pre-empting it, you slowly take over all planets and let your forces grow, while the Mothership cannot become stronger.

i give 5/5 but im annoyed how we dont quenqor mother ships intead my ships orbiting it gets blown up with the mothership!

i had to give this 1star because of the last 2 lvls. even if you own all planets on 17 the AI will still bulldoze right through you and I'm certain the numbers you see on normal are a blatant lie.

When it tells you how many pilots and crew were destroyed, you realize you weren't sending X-Wings, you were sending Star Destroyers.

uhm... i dont know if someone else is having this problem but... Black screen on Firefox 40.0.2... the weird thing is that i have played this game before... not sure why is not starting... (the minigame did work and the download completed though)

Great game. Really 4.5 Stars
Blind was a neat challenge
1: You can tell who controls what planet
2: If you hover over the planet you can see how much population it gives you
3: Your total population is still visible
4: You can gauge by the number of ships circling each planet how many there are, it's a rough estimate but it's enough.
5: You can see when a planet is being taken over... that alone makes it not too difficult.
Also another thing Lazers are OP as fawk XD
Seriously whenever there's a level with a lazer or two that's the FIRST thing I focus on, I grab them and hold them.
Spaceports are also important if you have not enough ships to meet your population, it speeds growth by like 200%
And well Warps are just great for strategy.
But lazers... you get those early on... especially near the enemy planets, they can't do a damn thing XD
But yeah this game was fun. I hope it gets badges, then I'll play it again ^^

Can you even finish the last mission on hard/blind? I've tried a lot of different strategies, including the winning one for easy, and without the walkthrough video I'm really at a loss.
Have to have the shipyard to be able to take down a mothership, but have to have a planet to produce ships.
BUT
To keep your planets you have to maintain at least two lasers, and even then its only a matter of time until you get overrun.
Anyone else think its a bit weird that you have to start level 18 by colonizing your home planet?

game was good but needed more missions and upgrades? something else is i think it should be more like an RTS that would make it allot better
