Simple yet brilliant gameplay, slight twist on a classic genre and nice, fresh space graphics. 5/5. Hope to see a sequel.

Good game, nice soundtrack, and lots and lots of spaceships firing lasers. Although I would had liked to see some upgrades, leaving it simple made it better. We are too used to see "racial traits" and "skill points" that some times we forget a game could go without those. 5/5

Decent graphics and a good start; unfortunately the game play is too linear; and doesn't allow much in the way of strategy or customization of your gaming experience as a player. For ideas on how to make this game check out Star Baron. Still I'd give this attempt a 3/5.

One of the most original games I have ever played. Graphics were nice, it ran great, and over all a really good game. More levels and some sort of online play would be PERFECT

haha the first mother ship mission, I sent my ships at the mother ship early. And somehow took it but they took over all the planets. So i was thinkin now its me in the mothership vs their planets... Mother ship blows up when I take it... yipee.

"Commander, we have won the battle!" "Excellent soldier, what are the reports?" "Well, we destroyed 3 motherships, and 5997 enemies... But we lost 10750 of our own men" "all i hear was that we won the day now burn those reports"

Excellent game. Absolutely needs a sequel, expansion pack, skirmish mode, or player-created map set, but I won't withhold the fifth star just for being too short. Instead, I'm giving full credit and asking for more!

the warp gate isn't too useful unless you make it so that ships passing an enemy planet get attacked by the orbiting enemy ships. That way the only way to attack a planet deep in the lion's den without sustaining losses would be by using the warp gate

It would be perfect with a skirmish mode, and if laser turrets had a more important function. They're worth only comes into play on the last level, or with two against one planet.

Here some ideas : 1) gravity tunnels (increasing speed between two specific planets) 2) Stars : having too much gravity and preventing ships to come too close (sort of walls) 3) Planet mode : production, infrastructure, terraforming. Terraforming being slower then infra. but working only for one specific race (make planets change color ^^) 4) bigger maps 5) More maps or randomly generated maps or editor or all 6) more faction in the same map. 7) setting screen : production/flying speed, ganging bonus (i bit high for my taste),etc. If you do all that, then i'll give you the same note. Because it's already 5/5 for me :D . gj.

This game is fun and all... but gets quite frustrating with how you move your ships around. I have, in most cases, clicked on another planet to select it, but instead sending my forces. Perhaps add the use of ESC to deselect, alongside with clicking in space.... just read the instructions... use of space to deselect is very weird...

I have seen games like this, (Nanowar, for example), but none of them top this. Usually when your army reaches your opponent, everything dies instantly, no time to respond. In this, it takes a few momments, and when it is 100:25, the 100 destroys the 25 much quicker then 100:75.
Very realistic, epic-level graphics are just frosting on the cake of this game, honestly. This is the best game of it's kind.

Alright - now im Through.
I completed most of the levels in 2-3 minutes and finished the game with 600 killed enemies put against 300 ships that I lost myself. The game could use a little more difficulty. Still, I enjoyed all of it.
Your style is great and it seems the space-theme fits you good. Id like to see more in that direction from you. :)

You know. I love those Games. And this one pushes the Graphics even further. BUT!
Content-wise they are almost all the same. Your Attempt here has even less new features than other competitors with a less shiny surface. Being a RTS-lover I actually prefer the slow, strategic games over the aggressive and fast-paced ones.
Why not trying to roll it up from that side? Implement some actual controls on how the Colonies Develop. Make it slow-paced or provide optional Settings for the Speed. I personally wouldnt mind an Idle-game either. Running half-automatic in the background while i am working in the office ;)

anyone else think kongregate is maybe a little bit late taking this exclusive game from bubblebox. it's been out on that site for almost two months.

Hint for medals: You must play on "normal" too get medals. Try rushing your enemy! for e.g on level 15, send directly all of your ships and take his laser tower before he get it, then the other laser, then defend the one he attack and then kill him. Easy win under 40 seconds.
