I went with the strategy of the Boomerang monkey, then tack, etc, and it didn't work for me, until I started saving up for my second super monkey. Then it was on. Also, Freeze thingies help. three at max.
Final build I used to win the badges;
1 Boomerang monkey
1 Tack shooter
3 cannons
1 supermonkey
2-3 freeze
1 more super monkey
Also, I spammed roadspikes if anything got near the end and spammed pinapple grenades on the BOABs.

I just lost my hard badge because I couldn't buy tacks- The circle for the super monkey I was upgrading was on the purchase screen.

first go to first track, put boomerang monkey in center... then wait until you can buy a dart monkey. put the dart monkey at the end and then just keep upgrading your boomerang monkey. then upgrade dart monkey fully. then buy a tack shooter and put it at beginning (fully upgrade) and you'll be fine until level 25 or so on Hard diffuculty

I got bugged on level 45 on easy on a first map - the start new wave button don't appeared. I called a monkey storm and win that level. And now I can't do anything.

i have a bug on this game...when i was on lvl 49, i beat it, but it didnt say lvl 49 complete. its like theres invisivble bloons..

Reached the end, then realized I had lost a life somehow somewhere along the way =\ had to be in the last 5 levels. =[

Strategy for hard badge:
1. Choose 1st course.
2. Buy Bloomerang, place it in middle of map, upgrade fully.
3. Buy Tack shooter, place it next to bloomerang, upgrade fully.
4. Buy cannon, upgrade fully, then repeat, until you have four.
5. Sell bloomberang in mid and replace with Supermonkey. This should be achieved before the first MOAB wave. Upgrade fully, dont get the plasma upgrade though, its not worth it.
6. Sell Tack shooter and replace with Monkey Beacon. Upgrade range. The four cannons bought should be placed inrange of hte beacon after the upgrade.
7. Buy Another Supermonkey and upgrade like previously.
8. Upgrade Beacon so Monkeys fire even more rapidly.
9. What's next? Well.....the game is closing and the next step is up to you.
Tips and tricks:
1. Buy road spikes early games when needed.
2. Spam pineapples late game and to destroy MOABs. (they are cheap!)

to place something any where, click on ur wanted purches then go to an area where u could put it, then slide ur mouse over and right click then click on the spot u would like to put it. ( never fails )

Here is my way to get hard badge (sorry for my bad english).
So, we start (the first track of course) with a spike o pult, put it at the left of the first turning set it the last target. (in this way the can hit the baloon who enter). After 2 waves put a dart monkey at the endo of the track.
after few ways put some tack shooter (i just used 2 of them till the 20th wave). so buy a cannon or use bombs for lead baloon and buy other two or more fully upgraded tack.
help with bombs if needed.
Save your gold and upgrade a super monkey, then a beacon, repeat!
