This game is amazing, it's not like anyother where you can barley upgrade. You can use tatics and you can control a tower. This is a very fun game.

idea for the 5th game im not a game designer or anything plus me so they might stick it on: there should be a sniper tower that can burst through 10 bloons at once( reload time for shot is 1 sec) price 595 first upgrade is 1000 epic range which is the entire map you can choose where it shoots optional, second upgrade is for 3195 which can burst through 50 bloons at once.third is reload quicker which then takes half a second and the fourth sequential upgrade is epic damage (bloon burster) which it goes through all bloons in its path for 11000 please plus so ninjakiwi stick it on+++

grberry thanks.. ive been playing this game got to rank 62 and wave 107.. and couldnt figure it out... funny it went from wave 104 at like rbe:442102 then to like wave 105 rbe: 112648

Before I knew about sun gods, the best monkey in the game, I read a comment that said they got to round 120 with 12 sungods. Really?

If you suffer (like me) from graphical lag slowing the game to a crawl, note that tabbing away from the game screen will cause it to run at full speed. You can verify this simply by listening to the "pops" speed up to a blur. You can't see or control the action, but by the time video lag becomes a problem around level 65+, boards are hands-off anyway. I find it takes under 10 seconds for most high level stages to run their course.

-A sword monkey that swings a long sword 360 degrees
-A fruit monkey that tosses various fruits with different effects, like grapes and pinnapples
-A boxing monkey that punches at close range

Spikes and glue would only be usefull if they lasted until a bloon went on it not only a single round.. all you want to do is to hold that speed button xD

I would absolutely suck at this game without road spikes.. They have saved my butt so many times, I mean the completely break me in the meantime but hey what would you do without em?

i have a easy wayt to hold the fast forward button. just hold the fast forward button with the left click and then press the right click with holding the left click and there u go.

Purchases for extra features, sandbox mode, custom tracks, more track etc. (aka paying for more game) is more than fine with me.
Paying to make the game easier, thus reducing play time, thus reducing time spent enjoying the game. less enjoyment = worse game.
Also, because of achievements, especially quest badges, this bothers me even more. "You could actually earn an achievement... or you could buy it..." says the unethical dart monkey. It's bad enough people use walkthroughs before actually trying.
If you buy enough kreds, ads on the whole site should get disabled for a while as well.
other than that rant this would be a 5/5 but instead i'm giving it a 1.

It's a fantastic game at its core, but is corrupted by its immodest support of Kreds. What should be a fairly challenging game is castrated by its Kred-fueled shortcuts. Why go through the trouble of building up your defenses and carefully planning your strategy when you can pay to get instant upgrades and brute-force your way to four new badges? Kongregate should not use Kreds as a way to receive money for lazy upgrades, but rather as a system for rewarding game makers for quality games.

Instead on holding the fast forward button, try left clicking it, and while holding that down, right click. This way you won't need to hold down the button. The only problem with this is that you still need to click it again if you click something else. I do this all the time :)

An easy way to not have to hold down the speed up button, is to hold down he left mouse key, and then right click while your still holding it down, and then you can let go and it stays down.

5/5 for the game, minus 1 for excess difficulty without all the bought upgrades, minus 1 for the fact that you are being bugged into buying upgrades, minus 1 for being an impossible stumbling block in the best of 2010 badge and minus 1 for the fact that you can't do any intermediate saving but always have to restart at level1 even if you die on the last. Which leaves... a game that could have been great but is only excessively frustrating.

If you go to the ninja kiwi site therer's a btd4 expansion with different tracks and a fast forward button that you can turn on or off i think.

it needs more save places because i wanna do different ones on hard but i have to leave then i play another game and get so far then i save it then i found out that my previous game is wiped out :p

Even on fast forward, the pineapple bomb placed or the pineapple express still takes 3 seconds, and the Super Monkey Launch, or whatever that is, loads at the same speed.
