Warning! There is a glitch that makes getting the last badge pretty much impossible. Copypasta this to keep it alive! You CANNOT fully upgrade your towers by using the mouse. So to keep you from losing cash, here are the maxes: ALL range upgrades cap at 2 upgrades, anything more will not be reached Dart Pierce is a single upgrade extra levels do nothing. Cannon bigger explosion is a single upgrade extra levels do nothing. Neither the Boomerang or Super Monkey can go beyond their 1st level upgrades. And last but not least: Tacks can be upgraded all the way to HYPERSONIC. LAST WARNING: Hypersonic on the tack shooters is, imo, TOO fast. I personally feel it makes even hard WAY TOO EASY. Use at your own "risk". If you want a real challenge do it without hypersonic.

Having trouble getting the badge? The trick is to simply build normal monkeys and give them the upgrade drilling, start building them in a row down the center, then create a T overthrown by the bottom row, after just keep cramming more wherever they correspond. And one of my old favorites! not go back in time, I forgot how nice the sound popping balloon was on this game.

How to get hypersonic tack shooter:buy tack shooter, click it press tab until the yellow thing is on the speed upgrade, then press enter until speed is hypersonic

for those that say this game got easier as you go through the sequels sorry but you're wrong they got more BAD ASS and awesome :) this was not even expected to get much review but like the 2nd one says this one got so much good rating they made another and then the 3rd and 4th with the 5th being the most complex and insane as the one comment by iplaybtdtoomuch stated it went from cute and cuddly to a full on war with the Bloons in btd 5 so enjoy the cuteness and such it goes away quickly :3

I have a suggestion for a new challenge. Try to complete the game with as few towers as possible. Without losing any lives, that is. I just completed the game with 48 dart monkeys, but I dont think the last 10 of them was really necessary. Next time, I'll go for 35! :)

i like how u can win with only dart monkeys, then in btd2,3 and 4 they stopped that, but then in btd5, they made dart monkeys so op by throwing 3 darts and by using the juggernaught, u can win every map on easy with just them, what a good franchise of games.

Ah Bloons Tower Defense Original... so much simpler... but almost as challenging to win as the recent Bloons TD games! (especially getting that dang badge)

i'll teach you guys the "hypersonic tack shooter".press tab until the faster shooting upgrade is yelloew boxed,then spam the space bar until the tack shooter's speed is hypersonic.that way you can win with a tack shooter.

On round 15 (I think) he says that it's impossible to win using one type of tower. Because of the tack tower glitch, I was able to do it with just one tack tower, lol

I know that I'm just confirming what others have said, but the dart monkey strategy works. Just fill the screen with them. Make sure that you pack them closely together, you will need a LOT of them.
