Forget thatguyyouknow, all you need is one Tack Tower and use firestorm977's glitch to win the game. use the glitch on the rang upgrade a lot and your tower becomes a spikeball of doom. plus, there isn't a speed cap so you can go as fast as you want to.

@boiledkitten: his glitch for range (at least for normal monkeys) just extends where they try to hit, but the dart expires at the end of it's normal range. so it's actually counter-productive to extend range.

Has anyone won with tac towers? I only used normal monkeys, freeze and supermonkey towers. Tacs seemed way too expensive and way to weak.

adding on to firestorm's comment: dont press and hold. just click enter 4 times until it reaches hypersonic speed and it will cost 1000 money. makes it very easy to get the achievement

While playing this game using thatguyyaknow's strategy I couldn't help but think something. What if any of the monkeys were claustrophobic XD Poor little monkeys...

My review: Despite being the first of one of my favorite Tower Defense series, this was a weaker start. It's still a fun game, with funny tips and creativeness in design, and introduced good ideas that would provide the backbone for later games in the series. However, there isn't much replay value, as there is only one track, and without many towers or strong upgrades (and a higher average difficulty that can't be changed), you need to rely on a specific strategy, unlike the later BTDs where you could have many ways to play. It also lacks the things that made the later games better, like music, fast-forwarding, and better graphics. Still, it is still an entertaining, funny game while it lasts, but it pales in comparison to the later BTD games and other Tower Defenses. 3/5.

Extremely easy with the Tack Shooter glitch.. You make 2 or 3 glitched tack shooter and done, you can beat it easily.
To glitch it is simple, buy a tack tower and keep pressing tab until you reach the Faster shooting upgrade, press enter on it 4~5 times until its speed say: Hypersonic.
You'll have negative money but you just have to wait a bit until you have money to make another one of those, and then... Repeat the process.

This game is pretty poor quality... The "towers" were all really horrible except for the two different kinds of monkeys. The menu on the left kept getting stuck as well. BUT it was one of the easier hard badges.

thatguyyaknow has a good concept, worked for me, start with 2 upgraded monkeys and a normal in the center and start working your way around to making a upside down T and then fill in the left hand area with as much normal monkeys as you can while only upgrading the pierce attack. Might take a few tries to get use to where to place the starting monkeys. But this has to be the easiest badge I've ever gotten.

Made it to 42 then a green got past. Even with the inverse t and a super monkey maxed. This badge isn't possible unless you cheat.

The glitch hinted by firestorm977 can also be controlled. Instead of holding (which costs a ridiculously large amount of money), you can tap one at a time. This way you don't overspend and still get hypersonic speed reading (about 4 taps). Make sure you don't move your mouse during the glitch.

The "Upside down T" thing really works. Just keep adding monkeys and putting piercing darts on them and you will not go wrong. Ftw 30+ points and challenge of the day.

Just FYI, firestorm's glitch isn't limited to only the faster shooting opinion. You can also increase the range of your Tack Shooter to the point where it can cover the whole screen. As if this hard badge wasn't easy enough. -_-
