Great game! 5/5! One thing though, I would love to be able to verse other people, also the balls seem too heavy? If it's simple to do, when you bring out number 2 make the balls roll longer..

Tomipoika, each computer player does the same thing each shot and it is random each time. So sometimes they're gonna pot a few and if they get unlucky or the shot is too hard they'll miss.
I can't think of a better way of balancing their skill level other than making the computer players pot X balls then miss - I prefer the randomness.

Computer AI is so freaking random. First they cannot hit shit and then they make 15 break. Then again 5 rounds with no balls in and then 15. Soooo random. Gotta balance it.

nice game but bals dont roll naturally-maybe they stop 2 quickly? and most of times i cant use enough power 4 my shot- maybe click and set the angle and then stretch the keu and fire away

Pronell, I don't think there is a bug with ball placing - it's never happened to me. The CPU player can only place the ball in the same place as you can depending on the setting you chose -(place cue ball anywhere after foul - ON/OFF). If you find a bug, please let me know right away and I'll fix it ASAP - cheers.

Oh, and some of the better CPU players are very annoying with their frequent 12+ breaks, but I suppose being able to do the same is what ought to be required to get a top three ranking...

Heh - good luck; I think I was lucky to only get 2 misses on that challenge (sometimes, the shot you think should work [having worked in the past] just doesn't)
Good game; apart from some annoying interface things (too many pop-up windows that you have to click to remove and you should press 'M' to move the ball instead of having to press 'M' to not move it after you click away a window), the only dodgy thing from a billiards point-of-view is "ball along the cushion shots" being far too easy.

on the break sam got both a red and a yellow and she got to go again, i think that the slot is still open and it is my turn.

The balls feel much more natural and have some weight to them in this release.
The 'set 8 ball rules' button seems to have no effect on how many frames are to be played.
The new power system is much better than before, and you can as a side-effect, no longer ruin your shot by moving the mouse while selecting the power.
Almost ready for a full version 1 release :)

I love Pool games, and this rates up there with some of the best I've played, it has multiple settings, direction, power, English, etc. etc...all the good features of a great pool game. And, best of all, it has Kong API! Would LOVE to see this get badges, as I have yet to see a Pool badge game. :) Great job!

WooHoo! I'm first to complete every snookers challenge, top of leaderboard! Impressive physics engine, setup works pretty well. The music can get pretty obnoxious though, it'd be nice if you could choose between different background music. But till then I appreciate the mute button :) 4/5

Bobjrsenior, if you potted the 8-ball and an opponent's ball at the same time - this is a foul.
You can't pot your opponent's ball in English Pub Rules unless you have 2-shots.

You were right alabama! I changed the cup names before I uploaded the game to the site - this caused an id error (as I named the straight and 8-ball cups the same). I've changed the names of the cups now - so the bug is fixed - I hope! Thanks again Alabama

when i won the bronze cup on straight pool it unlocked the village open in 8 -ball and says that ive won the 8-ball bronze cup instead figured you should know

I'm not too sure about the heart beats too - they seemed like a good idea at the time. I might make them optional. Also, you can always turn the music off using the sound control (it's the left bit when you hover over the speaker). If you turn it right down it will turn it off completely - and when you play next time it will be remembered. Thanks for the nice comments so far! That's how I play it.
