I'm getting a bug where the game's sound drops out and then the hearts start cycling while the completetion meter goes from 0 to 100 repeatedly. That and I keep asking me to press H but it doesn't do anything.
Otherwise a really good game

5/5 Perfect game!
Pixel art --------> Always good
New concept -----> Never bad
Great gameplay ------>By defenition great!
Let's see... good + perfect + great = 5/5 :)

Needs a way to lower the quality. It's the only game on Kongregate that I've had lag for me.
(I'm using a four-year old laptop with an integrated graphics card, but it handles other flash games without trouble)

If you jump and the enemy hits you, you don't receive damage. If that wasn't the case, some of these levels would really be challenging =o

why do you have to live through 100% if there is a unlimited number of chiselmen reappearing after every one blows up

Sigh, Nitrome has always been great at pixel art but this is yet another example of their unfortunate inability to make a game good in ways other than art. Keep trying Nitrome, looking forward to your first really good game... =\

The score system is rather pointless. Starting with a base score of 10,000 per level (random number) and losing points every time you drill (maybe a growing penalty for each cut? -250 points for the first cut, -300 for the second?) would work better for a game of this type. It would push score-chasers to plan out their cuts. That way the goal becomes to complete the level with as few cuts as possible. Bonus points could still be awarded for destroying enemy bots. As it stands, the game is a neat concept but lacks replay value. Jewels should appear inside the planet you're Chiseling, too. That way you're encouraged to plan a drill that nets you bonus points.

Whats the point to the game. I get that it is a digging game but if the only goal is to get points why not just stay on a safe world and collect an infinite number of gems?

The clustered level design and underground enemy movement that is never consistent (bounce to "wall" at angle, then comes straight from "wall"), makes the later stages too frustrating to be fun; and renders the score pointless.
