I was rather enjoying the game at the start, always been a fan of Heroes of Might and Magic.
I could also understand that developers need to generate cashflow and a lot of developers have been very successful at the 'free to play, pay for extra's' model, but this game is taking the piss. 5 minutes to wait for 1 stamina? and then I need 12 stamina to fight 1 battle, that's 1 battle per hour! Oh but of course, you can spend some gems and get stamina that way, but that will deplete terribly fast and you actually want to save gems to buy expensive units later on. So in order to play this game for a few hours straight, you have to spend money in order to circumvent the GODAWEFULL stamina system.
If you would have made an enjoyable game where players could buy legendary units, or items or whatever this game would be played a lot more. And I'm sure you would have generated more cashflow that way. I'd even be happy if you would get full stamina every 5 minutes...

I'm a huge fan of Heroes, King's Bounty and hex based RPG strategies in general, but I'm not a fan of energy. It wouldn't be so terrible if you could actually progress a decent amount of time in the game before you had to take a rest. It really is a shame, because I enjoy this game for the full 5 minutes I can play it every hour. As for the people trying to get the pvp badge and are coming across 'pay to winners' - do what I did. Buy the scrolls from the store instead of units with your gems. You get some immensely powerful ones from 19 gem pack that will easily allow you to win 3 times even against tough opponents. Just don't waste them. If it looks like you can't win, instead of letting them destroy you, run away, saving your units, and come back in 10 minutes after the penalty is off.

I played this game a few months ago, I think it was August? Still, back then this game loaded MUCH faster. I can't remember much, but I know quite a lot of things have changed such as the map, upgrading of troops and the addition of runes. You could do more things with the same amount of energy back then, too. Changed my rating from a 4/5 to 1/5, glad that I already have 3 pvp wins. Goodbye forever, energy-based pay2win crap(Seriously, when are developers going to stop doing this?).

This is my 10th visit to this game and I still haven't seen the tutorial yet. The game just won't load. I thought technology had advanced. This is worse than the c64 which came out over 30 years ago.

Developers: Are you reading the comments? You should. Every one of these people is someone who is refusing to be a customer. You COULD have had most of us after a while, after we got into the game. But that takes hours, not seconds. It COULD have been addicting. But you jam ads in our faces right from the very start. There's no hook. It's all stick, no carrot. Even while I'm playing with people trying to get the badge (and this may be the game that makes me forsake badges, and thus Kongregate, altogether), SPECIAL SALE TODAY ONLY HURRY HURRY. It's like you're a literal circus barker. Yeah I guess it has nice graphics for a (slow, in browser, kinda buggy on loading) flash game. But look at what everyone has to say about this. You could have done MUCH better. And all it would have taken was less in-your-face greed.

I can udnerstand the hate but I think it's a bit unwarranted. Gameplay is pretty standard fare and graphics wise it's really fun to be playing something this nice in your browser.

Any issues with loading are either your connection or your computer. The game is built on Unity. Unity is a separate plugin, requiring a separate download, and the game has to download to run. That's how it works. There's an explanatory icon by the game's name, you can't rate this 1/5 just 'cause it takes a long time to load. It's big. Big things take longer. Rate it 1/5 because it's a crappy energy-based money-grubbing crap game, not because you have outdated technology or no patience.

i've said it before, but i'll say it again: the Energy system is THE stupidest idea EVER! this game looks nice, but energy completely ruins it.

I usually have no problem with energy based games, but when the limit is as small as it is here, and it takes as long as it does to regenerate, it's really just poor design. You're supposed to try to make people want to play the game by making it at least a bit easier earlier on to play, not limit how much you can do right off the bat.

I'd give the game a higher rating if the attempts to get you to spend cash were less intrusive. I don't object to them making money, but interrupting me 4 times every time I log in to ask me to buy something is a bit too much. OTOH, the prissy way the pirates walk amuses me greatly, and I've been playing games by this guy since the original King's Bounty, long before the series was renamed Heroes of Might and Magic.

This is a fun game, dragged into the mud by a lame cashgrab and a stupid 'energy' system. Just buy King's Bounty: Armored Princess instead! If you're going to give 1C money, you'll get more value out of it that way than wasting it on Kreds.

I do wish for a negative rating possibility. But after spending more than ten minutes without even seeing anything from this game except for loading screen I don't think any negative rating would suit this.

Don't be fooled by the stunning graphics and fun battle style. This game is a money sink if you want to sucessful in PvP. History mode is ridiculously short and after a few time you realize that is simply impossible to win against payers, cause the OP units are not available. I spent big time in this game long ago hoping the system would change. It didn't. Taking my badges and disappearing. 1/5

Kong should stop adding badges to multiplayer games like these. The hordes who come for only badges downvote it, while the people who actually play get flooded comment boxes and servers.

I like the King's Bounty game, so I don't quite get why everyone is screaming "HORRIBLE". However, the stamina requirements are far too stringent here, meaning you won't be playing much of this game any time soon without cash.

It's been on here for almost a year and on facebook for 2, quit yer bitchin. This is no where near as bad as when it was launched and be thankful you weren't playing before they made the unit changes. If you have a gamefly sub, you can download the original game for free.
