The gems are there to provide a shortcut to players e.g. refilling stamina or gold and purchasing elite units ahead of the storyline progression. We see that this shortcut is based on money since most gems come from Kreds (ignore the quest rewards - they are just minimal) and Kreds in turn comes from money. I say this is fundamentally bad, because the mere existence of the shortcut has the effect of arousing players to recognize that by following the general progression but not using the shortcut they are using a slower or "less efficient" method, this in turn induces the drive to make purchases for gems. At the end of the day, this shifts the basis of the game towards the money-based end, and I suppose this is not too welcomed on Kongregate, since it should be a platform for free, user-friendly games. Thoughts, anyone? And more importantly - thoughts from the developer?

so amusing coming back here and seeing a 1/5 game with badges that also no longer has my 1/5 rating...gotta love kong pay to win games and remove poor ratings.

energy should always regain faster, almost 4 minutes for 1 point of no good useage? yes the first few lvls are unhindered ..ish but as it goes on you just sit there and feel like nothing happens. Let us be abe to buy energy in theese games with gold for a decent amount atleast, i swear this is more expencive and slowmoving than any mmo you can play. Let people pay once or smth instead of that "boost pay". YOU ARENT HELPING GAMING COMMUNITY !

You get matched with those much higher than your level because newer players see the blatant cash-grab and run for the hills.

As a HUGE fan of the original game, who still plays it on Genesis every couple of weeks, I almost peed myself when I found out there was a modern adaptation of it. Then I started playing and wanted to cry. Come on. At this point we're all on board that the F2P model is, best case scenario, somewhat sleazy, right? (And at worst kind of evil.) I would have paid money for a complete and whole game like this. Hell, I DO pay money all the time for games just like this. But I'm not falling for your dumb money-treadmill.
I'm not mad at the devs. I know everybody's got bills to pay. But still ... F2P is way sketchy. I spend money on games I want to play. I don't spend money on behavioral economics sims designed to exploit quirks of my psychology.

This is a really nice looking game. Graphics are amazing, game play and battles are good. Ill still play this as a social media mmo, but if you guys took the graphic and most of the code and made a single player RPG (doesnt need to be too long) you could easily be winning prizes here or selling your game online. Your game is not bad by any means, but its potential seems like its restricted by its current genre format.

Any plans to introduce a PVP system in which you don't end up facing someone 1.5x your level with twice the army size...? :/

The way they match people up in this game in PvP is ridiculous. What chance does a level 10 have against a level 31? It doesnt make me want to push through with this game and therefore they are losing money. If they made it more of an even game maybe people would play / pay more

Question: is it - somehow - possible to re-align the language of the game? The german translation just sucks, like done by google. example: equipment (armor and stuff) vs equipment (tools). in english both can be the same (description), in German you very unlikely dress with tools (just to list one of MANY MANY translation problems).

tired of waiting to start the game and i have a performance computer processor and its taking 5 mins or more not worth the time and after the comments seems like its not worth it anyway.

not to double post (i'm sorry) but could we get more games that are made by actual people and not "NivalPublishing" (companies).... i'd give my money to those people. not these cash grabbers

There are dozens upon dozens of great games that still need badges so why don't they get badges but these crappy multiplayer cash grabs get them?

Random PvP Fights against players several levels higher resulting in loosing the whole army which costs you thousands of gold and usually prevents you from beeing able to play hours to days . . . congratulations @ Developers. A new milestone in bad game design!

I log in for the first time in months and get bombarded with so many help requests I quit before managing to actually play the game.

I have to say that given the opportunity to read the comments due to the excessive load time, I will gladly deny myself the chance the to play this game because it honestly can not be worth my time by any stretch of the imagination. Good luck with the next game.

So I find this awesome Red Diamond.... Turns out all it does is allow me to buy Crystals With Kreds at a cheaper rate...

The PVP system is suck. lvl 25 VS lvl 31. and the lvl 31 guys get very advance equipment. I hit the whole stack of unit die. 5 hit defeated. It is meaningless to play PVP anymore.

Apparently I'm destined to be forever matched up against opponents 5 levels higher than I am, so I guess this game is going in my "play for five minutes, twice a day, for the next few months" bookmarks folder, along with the rest of them.

we are getting more and more of these games... all of them not even fun to play ....what a shame for kong to became like this.

How the **** could this game get such a good rating, and even worse, badges? I've lost hope in the people of Kongregate.
