Fun but contains several conflicting messages which may be a little confusing for new ATV riders. REMEMBER: If you do encounter a large number of paranormal entities do not engage them yourselves. The ATV Safety Institute recommends returning to a place of safety and calling Ghostbusters (555-2368). Equally, shoring roads, removing electrical parts from cars and repairing public bridges is a job best left to the professionals.

Hope everyone enjoys the game. We made this game because kids and adults are getting into many preventable accidents on ATVs. If this game spares even one person a fatal or debilitating accident, the work that went into it will be well worth it.
(And we hope the game is fun in its own right!)

very nice art. but can you make a new adventure game without ATVs and safety rules?
i know, it is realy good and honorable to teach kids, but such talent as you can make pretty games with cool storylines.
thanks for your work anyway.
and sorry for my english.

Well done, interesting game that tries to teach you something and isn't boring while doing it! There should be more projects like this that are not just about mindless clicking or killing.

Creative game, it looks great, fun and has a message. Great job!! (And like you said in the description, this is the type of learning aid I wish I had in school)

Congratulations for this game. You did an amazing work on this serious game, and the result is a fun gameplay mixed with a not-too-intrusive message. Plus, the graphics are excellent and the music diverse and immersive. 5/5

The game is...well I cant call this a game...more like a interactive movie.But it still deserves a better grade. 5/5 from me,guys

So I grabbed an electrified lightning rod, poured old oil into a swamp, robbed a tomb, and waved some flowers at a pack of rabid wolves, all in the name of ATV safety!

Nice avatars! It would be cool if it showed them again at the end to choose. I didn't realize I could add one by clicking it.

Man, fighting those monsters looks awesome. Would make a great game. But I guess tossing rocks off a path is fun too, kinda.

I actually enjoyed this game. :) It was quite entertaining but simple. I was playing it for quite a while. It has nice art-work and a nice storyline, although the gameplay might not have been too good, i think it was supposed to be based mainly on the storyline and to inform people how to ride ATVs safely. Good luck with your future games and just remember, The Attic is always there for you to get feedback. :D

I laughed whenever he yelled "RIDER ACTIVE!!" with that exciting background music. The seriousness is hilarious in a fun way! Great work with great intentions.

I don't know that I really learned all that much that would stick about ATV Safety, but I've got to say this is about the best way to present such that I've ever seen in my life. Well done NMSUCC, well done indeed. Good art, good storyline, simple as hell but fun solutions - this is probably one of the best submissions I've ever seen to Kong. /Applaud.

At first this game looked like it might be fun. Then you realize it's about teaching you ATV safety stuff, and that somehow makes it even more awesome!
Here's a quick question: If the ATV is short for All-Terrain Vehicle, how come it doesn't work on asphalt?

Man 1: Our town is beset upon by a werewolf, frankenstein-like creature, swamp creature and a vampire. Should we call Van Helsing or some other supernatural hunter?
Man 2: Why should we when these ATV riders just rolled into town? They seem fully qualified because of their abilities to ride ATVs and promote ATV safety.

Well, it has a well made (yet simple) graphic, maybe it serves well in educational purposes, but it can't be called a game; it is an interactive comics.

So what do we learn about safety? We can walk throug swamps into unstable buildings, fix bridges ourselves and drive over them, as long as we don't drive on the street an have our safety gear at hand xD.

Seems like the devs said "Ok, little baby, I want you to learn something". I found the game a little childish, nevertheless it has nice arts and concept. 3/5

heh. reminds me of the one time I rode an atv...at night, without gear because of my mother boyfriend wanted me out of the house. not a very smart desicion

Please wait Mr. Big Scary electro monster, who by the way is only 4 feet away and charging, while I take a couple minutes to reroute your power and effectively neutralize you, thanks.

UPDATE! We've added the ability to see all the avatars you earn after you complete the game, plus we've added three new avatars for you to choose from. Also, we've added a mute button, as requested. Enjoy!

all well and good teach the kids about safely riding atvs... then fix a bridge by laying some boards over the gap... and proceed to ride over it!?

Well I thought this was an entertaining and simple game. Good storyline, which was both educational and entertaining. Good art work! I liked the educational intent of the game the best. This is a great educational tool IMO.

This game achieves a nice balance between being genuinely informative as well as engaging and entertaining. Certainly, there are a lot of simple click-and-drag mechanics, but it is clear that design choices were made in order to facilitate learning about ATV safety. The player is meant to walk away thinking about their ATV and how to ride it safely, not necessarily to think about playing the game itself.
The storyline and mood are very deeply engrossing, and I believe this game is important to play in regards to 'edutainment' or using video games as a channel for sharing genuine, useful information. This game proves at least that we can, too, have pretty media to teach us about the world.
I look forward to experiencing the next games this team produces.

yeah sure kids, break into generator huts and old tombs, explore abandoned mines, go looking for werewolves and vampires. BUT DON'T DRIVE ON THE ROADWAY.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So it's okay to hunt monsters, but riding an atv on the desolate road instead of the trail is not safe? Which one is more likely to be well-paved and graded, with less debris?

How it would really go down in The Manor...
Dude 1: "Hey look STAIRS!!!"
Dude 2: "Why are you shouting??? Sometimes I have no idea why I hang out with you..."

The art is very professionally well done, I'm surprised it isn't rated higher. The game play is kind of like playing with cereal in a bowl, however.

Riding an ATV on roads is dangerous, it said in the game, because of !!cars!! and because it will wear the tires prematurely and can cause a flat.
