I just had to come back and post that this is one of the very few games that I have fond memories of, even though it has been 5+ years since I last played it.

After 10,000 years of slumber the God of this world work from his slumber and the first sight he saw was a castle besieged by terrible foes. Thus he uttered his first words in 10,000 years. "Why the hell did thee make thy walls out of cardboard and gorilla glue?"

My biggest question is why we are using sandbags to hide behind when there are obviously massive stone walls behind us? And why are the dragonflies doing damage they're friggin dragonflies.

Day 163, it has been 73 days since anyone managed to down my castle. My buddies are stronger than i am now and of a much higher level. Investing in that gravity gun was the smartest move i made in this game. 3/4 of my men are rocking 'leech lvl 3' and this ensures my castle will never fall. Doesn't help the enemy too when i can fix 20 hp every round with my repairmen. I haven't hired any mercenaries for those 73 past rounds too and everything is going smoothly. Hunter Wrecker777

Day 90; I've successfully held off another day's worth of filth and vermin charging my stronghold in vain. Being a Prince, it's a wonder why I still have to do the defending instead of hiring someone else to take my place. Using a brainwashing technique called 'gold' I have convinced over 30 of my own flesh and blood; my little sisters to jump of the balcony with TNT strapped to their chests. I hate siblings, in general but this method seems a bit too harsh to trim the brood even for me. But its effective and strangely one of my abilities to 'Love' them also allows me to pillage gold from their detonated corpses thus further encouraging sibling genocide. The remnants on the field are beginning to stink but it makes good fertilizer for the crops so that is a + for the kingdom. Peace out... Hunter Wrecker

Man i love this game, but it would be better if we could mute the music/background without muting the shots and sound effects.

This game got me into Elona Plus, which is a wonderfully crafted roguelike with gigantic world and dozens of hours of gameplay.

This was published in 2009, it's six years later and it's still one of the best games on kongregate of this type. It really sucks we won't get a sequel.

I'm not really expecting a sequel to this game since Noa pretty much used this game as a way to promote his former owned MMO, Elona. When I say that, I mean, he no longer is working on it and has moved on. So pretty much the chances of a sequel to this game is slim.

This didn't get past the first part of the stupid voting event, but it's still the best game on this site in my heart <3

I've played this so many times; hardly ever getting anywheres, but I'd be interested in a sequel if someone made one.

Day 56, realized flying enemies can be killed by grenades when helper throws one directly at three dragonflies, killing them. Still don't know why my accuracy is worse than his.

Its a good game. but this game dont have mult player, I bore this game over Day 100. I think If It have PVP, we can play long time.

@ Johnnzhu If you want the easy route, use the accuracy mod in casual. If you're playing legitimately, then first get the 50 critical kills achievement for accuracy 2. It'll be difficult to get perfect days, but try and do quick bursts of fire to kill enemies as opposed to spraying-don't even worry much about criticals at first. Try and get a HK of some form or another with 2-3 mod slots, and put any accuracy mods you find on it. upgrade the shop as much as you can afford and still beat waves, and buy a gravity gun as soon as it shows up. Try and upgrade the house as well, and get a hunter with bow mastery and an auto bowgun, a defender with nullify maxed, and a rogue with a laser pistol. Focus your level up points towards reload as much as you can, without neglecting damage and all party skills. Set the defender at shooting at aerial targets, and the rogue and hunter to fire at will, while you blast gravity gun shots towards the most high value targets.

the AI is such a let down... they take years to "aim" if you can even call it that, and even if they are aiming they never shoot and then move to a new target.

Know any other games where you can convince your sister who is a nest to dragonflies to suicide bomb on chickens, sheep and rats?

Actually the "cooldown"* isn't 0 for weapons you can't use, it still uses the weapons cooldown(firerate). However, weapons with really fast firerate basically make you reload instantly. This means silly reload sniper rifles, gravity guns, and many more :P. I don't know how it works with one ammo weapons though. Should be the same.

When you switch weapons, your reload is tied to the weapon you are currently using and seems to transfer on a % base. However, weapons you can't use have a reload time of 0... Have fun with that sniper rifle.
