The VILLA is a very good perk to get (3 action points, ups damage) but it's a bit pricy. that's why it's very good to build up BADGES. The longer you last, the more money you'll start off with.

For beginners, don't expect to do well on your first go. What you want to do is GET BADGES! That'll give you bonuses such as more money, chance for more action points, ect. Strive to get at least the 2000 or 5000 house for a party of 3 or 4 by the 10th day. Try to get perfect days (end with full health) and buy a REPAIRMAN on the first night. You should try to get CHICKENS or MUSEUM for extra cash. SANDBAGS if you have issues with small hitters ruining your perfect days. MILITIA is helpful with it's occasional grenade toss. GRAVITY GUN is very helpful on teammates though it's a slow reload.

why is it that when you use ragnorak 100 dragons shoot lazers at you i know its a vikings doomsday but why cant it just kill your enemies i mean come on i was on hardcore

@dvonmc, when you reforge a weapon it will lose the last mod. You can use the reforge action on a weapon to see a before and after version of the weapon (you have to confirm if you want to reforge or not so it's safe to take a look).

So, I'm really curious. When I reforge a weapon, and it has mods, do those mods get incorporated into it, or are they lost in the process?

for those of you who are having trouble with causual mode, try using the sheriff and taking a shotgun, and holding space bar in between shots

This is a good game. Don't stone me yet, I'm not done. Now, there is a bit of fake difficulty- The difficulty ramp there is is incredibly steep, and using marked mods feels like cheating, despite it making it fair- But I feel as though it's supposed to be incredibly difficult. After all, it's not every day you make a roguelike shooter.
Personally, I like it. I unno, I'm probably stupid and play it wrong anyway. but ehn, it's fun. It gets my 5/5.

Wow, first few days this game is 5/5 Stars. Then the difficulty just ramps up immensely. Got the BotD, and I've downgrading to 2/5 Stars. Even in Casual Mode I had trouble.

@Devili: Sorry, but it's not just "young'uns." It's some of us who ARE "old school." Not everyone is good at these accuracy shooting games. And with the LACK of accuracy in this game ALL THE TIME, this was just a very poor choice for a BOTD. And although I did FINALLY manage (I'm still not sure how) to get all ten levels completed, I still rate this game a 2, and a MASSIVE fail, and the game STILL sucks!

And finally holding the space bar while using the sherriff (or any shotgun you reload 1 shot at a time) will give you infinite ammo in a way. If you get the timing down right you can shoot forever with no down time. I wedged a penny under the alt, x and c keys to hold down the space bar for me.

I don't understand how "Carry Over" works. Every time I hit continue I start the day again with 1100 or 1200 gold. No matter how much I spend or save before I continue it doesn't seem to affect the amount I start over with.

And now for a helpful comment, look at the achievements you get in game. They provide bonus upon starting a new game that can help you out. You can get some nice starting money or a good starter weapon if you're lucky from just the achievements. There is a second page to the upgrade shop. Sheriff is a good CC ally with the pushback from the shotgun keeping people away from the walls. I normally have 2 sheriffs, a rogue (or noble for versatility) and myself. Target suicide bombers first (should be a given). Gravity Gun is one of the strongest weapons in the game for mid level ish play. Try to throw it on someone if possible. I normally have a designated anti air sheriff since the flying enemies can be a pain. Pressing F will enable "Fire at will" which removes all range limitations but in turn lowers accuracy.

There is so much complaining about how "hard" this game is. I have gotten to level 50 in normal mod on my laptop without the laptop settings. You people that complain about it being "tiny" need to just get better at the game. It takes actual skill to score a critical not just aiming in their general direction.

the spread radius is way to high for most weapons to be interesting, the random violence is just weird, not funny. i have nothing against violence and random... but seriously? this? 1/5

Terrible game playing experience. Decent concept but horrible laughable execution. In order to see anything you must zoom, when you zoom you loose accuracy for aim. This game does not deserve even 1 star.
