I swear I both love and hate this game... I love the concepts and styles but I can NEVER, EVER get past about day 12/13. Usually it's either balistas that my hirelings completely ignore or it's those FING kamikazes coming through JUST as I'm trying to reload.... and the AI ignores them.. or the AI wasting bullets on shielding bosses while 15 mobs charge the walls.
Pluss let us not forget that I can NEVER find proper upgrades for my gun// my AIs? Sure, but day 13 and STILL using the starter machine pistol (Noble) is the best I've ever done.

to kill armored enemies by the time you get to day 12, get an automatic weapon other than auto bowgun. hunting rifle, shotgun, and pistol will only get you so far.

So I finally got my late-game Ragnarok. Triple-Taunted the wave (so 3.5x HP); and single-handedly slaughtered them all in seconds with my revolver.
Duelist + Revolver + Dmg3,AutoReload3,Reload3 => Insta-Slaughter everything.

The key to winning this game is realising that everything is based on the RNG, and just keep reloading without saving if you get bad events. Duelist or Rogue with revolver is probably the easiest, although I've tried shotgun sheriff and hunter and noble, those work okish too. Firstly, in order to actually play the game and win, you need a good weapon. At day 5 or so you should just keep reloading until you see a weapon of your choice with at least 4 mods (preferably 6, but 4 will last u long enough). Once the waves start allowing for parachute rats, if you don't get enough parachute rats in a day, quit the game before the day ends and try again. You need those levels from the rats (especially for duelist/rogue). (I offer my highscores as proof that this works: lvl 634 rogue gets +1000% gold for kills)

Got 3 ragnaroks before day 20. Had to sell 2 to make space.
Now it's day 119. . . I could probably handle 3 ragnaroks AT ONCE . . . and i don't get a single one.
This game is too damn awesome :).

How to beat Ragnarok (keep in mind that this will take some time): what you need:1) Holy grail of Jure 2)three NPCs 3) A rapid bowgun and at least one gravity gun. How to do it: make sure you are in the Hunter class (or another class that gets bowmaster) and upgrade your bowmaster stat all the way. Equip yourself with the rapid bowgun and go for the dragons that are lined up for maximum damage. For your NPCs equip AT LEAST one of them with a graavity gun. (it also helps to have the stat for extra explosive damage) Your NPCs with gravity guns will decimate large groups of dragons while you take them out in a line. also, as soon as you see the first dragon about to damage you use the holy grail, it will deflect damage for a while.

i just made a huge mistake, i gave one of my npc's a gravity gun. that thing is so powerful that she is getting all the kills now and i cant level up 8(

I love this game... but its HARD! I've found myself using games with every mod that could make the game easier for badge grinding... and still lossing rounds.

always make sure your leader is the one who uses the automatic weapons, whatever weapon category youre in, because your reactions are much better than your teammates even after they level up. my favorite weapon category for my henchmen is shotgun, and i set them to defend wall. i usually then only have to worry about enemies at least halfway across the screen

THis game kicks freakin ass. Not 2 hard of game and most medals r easy to get. Heavy Machine guns are fun to use, but if you want hire the henchman if you want 2 see ur enemies die without u even moving a lot. Thumbs up if ur not gay!

Getting achievements helps a lot in getting the impossible badge. Easiest way is to pick a sheriff/ hunter as a starter. I recommend sheriff as you can hold space as you shoot which practically makes you have unlimited ammo (most death occur during reloading). To make it way easier, get the laptop difficulty and tighter accuracy in the game mod section and your shotgun will rip every enemy gut out. Get as many achievement as you could, chickens really help out a lot. With achievement, you'll get better start in later game which will help in HC mode. Great Game 5/5

use the sheriff and hold the space bar in while you shoot. it automatically reloads each bullet shot and you still shoot at roughly the same speed

A tedious but usefull trick with this game is to save when you get good results on a random ap section & to return to the title when you get a poor outcome. Works great with pray, have dinner, collect eggs, taunt, rob visitors, refresh stock or next level smith, and a few other actions. A cheat that will steal hours of your life but you were going to waist them anyway....
