I have one complaint. If you go to learn new spells and thinks "Oh, I am going learn a higher level magic spell." I click higher level magics and realize it's not there and therefore must be a clan special. "Oh, I just press the back button...wait, where?" Investigates and find the only way to leave is to learn a spell or refresh. If there are no good spells left you don't want to waste skill points and refreshes. Now you will be back if you saved your game just before since there is no autosave. The other places have "done"button to leave. why not The Great Halls Magic master and his spells?

I literally felt sad when it all ended. Fantastic music, fantastic gameplay, amazing game! This truly is a work of art. Thank you for sharing it with us.

At The End when I become the Great Mage and saw all of my progress and history I almost shed a tear. I need a sequel. (Also my character pulled a Julius Caesar)

I would have made the medium badge hard and the "become a great mage" hard badge easy. Took me three times to get the medium but got the hard on the first run. By the third run I decided that I just had to be so evil that everyone had to die. Mwahahahaha.

For the sake of people playing the game for the first time (including MYSELF) there should be a FAQ that answers the following questions:
1. At what level can I finally visit other clans?
2. Is there ever any purpose to Exploring? I keep doing it but always get "Nothing happened."
3. Why are there never any mages in the Arena?
I'm told I can only increase rank by fighting in the arena, and I must fight 5 times before I can get in the Book of Mages. I'm already level 37 and I check the arena frequently but so far there has only been ONE fight. For how many years and/or levels must I pass by where pretty much the only thing I can do is spam the Mana Caves for skill points?

I got both of the hard badges the first time I tried the game. But only came second in the young mage contest, so I still don't have the badge of the day... Hahaha. Tells you something about my strategy :P

i get a message saying i have to visit arena, but then i try to visit arena and nothing happens, i keep getting the message to visit arena -_-

Yeah, honestly one of the worst games I've played on Kongregate. Not much explanation on what to do and you basically just collect points for 1 year then lose because you didn't train right, but what does training right even mean?

what would be nice is a auto-save system. I played until I was like lvl 170 but my laptops batt died, so now I still only have one fireball :L

So, I'm playing the game and there's this water mage who needs some water to fend himself against two enemies, and one of his foes mockingly suggest the other to pee on him because "urine might save his life"... ಠ_à²

I got the Bow Down badge. I got the Great Mage badge. But I can't get the Rising Star badge, no matter what Clan I choose or what tactics I use.
MUST TRY AGAIN...

Wow, amazing. This game was so much deeper than I expected when I went into it. Loved the little side event interactions. Most enemies were of little challenge when you trained enough, but some burning hill guys were tough as nails to kill because once they got hits on you, they had the power advantage. I chose dark wood, which seems to be the easiest because you can just spam silence pretty much on later enemies who give you trouble.

Found a nice secret near the end game! After becoming the Number 1 Mage keep talking to the Mysterious Hermits in "Bar & Marketplace", after some interactions he will reveal himself as the actual strongest Mage and fight you! It's pretty hard and I'm not sure if he's beatable, but it's there :D

When choosing Clan Special Magic for Sea mages.. Mana costssay 0 or 1 .. then when you try to use Absorb Life in a fight it informs you that you will need 160 mana... Um yeah .. .false advertising ;-)

Something I had trouble with that might be a help for others: on the training screen, you can click on your attack bubbles to power up individual attacks, not just the rectangles of +mana, +hp, etc!

good idea, less than optimally executed. typos, getting stuck after being the number one mage just waiting for the ending. Not really enjoyable. did it just for the badges.

You can upgrade your attacks. It doesnt seem like it at first, since they are in the upper corner. I reccomend getting your attacks and one defense up to 10 as quick as possible. Also, having lots of mana helps, as its easy to outlast the opponents and hitting them hard when they cant do anything.

Every opponent is far, far more powerful than me, making it impossible to ever win anything or accomplish anything. Downvote. This isn't a game, more of just sad developer bullying.

Never seen an RPG/battle game where curses last forever with no way to remedy! I was cursed with mana drain 12... so I lost 12 mana each round and could only regain 8, so I was unable to any moves for the rest of the round and lost... despite that my opponent had little life and very little mana himself (he could at least regenerate every other round and eventully needled me with +1 attacks until I died). There should be a mana-less attack or some way to undo a curse...

"The following years, Fluffy Wing of Great Lemon Tea brought peace" ... "Great Lemon Tea brought peace"!! How much I love to hear that!! =)

Want to win the game easily?
Then go to Training Grounds, use tab until you selected Mana Cave, and finally press and hold enter to get insane amount of Skill Points! There is a level cap on how much you can upgrade your stats.

This game is very fun and the replay value is great. See, every clan has a different strategy, with different ways of executing them on other clan. Very strategic and very balanced. The game has great lore and a detailed battle system which is easy to understand, but harder to master. (As someone has said.) It was fun throughout to play and to figure out what to do in different battle situations. Overall, 5/5! Make a sequel.

.... at first i hated this game since i had a bit of trouble understanding the combat but then it became simpler with the chaos desert , overall nice game but the sound with headphones on when you lose is way too loud but that's the only issue i have with this game :)
