you wanna know what I find terribly stupid about this? Other than everything else being awesome, the stinking great sea mages have tha ability to take all of your mana away for the entire battle, which pretty much makes them invincible. The mage in the young mage contest had the mana leak at level 12, and I only got 8 mana each time I rested, so there was absolutely NO WAY I could win. FIX IT. PLEASE.

Best mage to defeat the The burn storm guy when he chanllenges you for great mage is to do poison wave then when has uber shot do paralyze then poison wave then keep repeating till he has to rest then kick his ass

oh i think i found something... i did poison water and it turned out i was evenly matched so i retried and so i thought i keep poison waving and it took a LOOONG time but it worked w/ poison trigger

I have a hell of a time finding RPGs I'll burn time playing. This is the first one in over 6 months that I've actually felt like completing. Though I must admit, I only had one issue with the game and that was a lot of the simple dialogue. It was too dull or awkward to be taken seriously a lot of times. Official RPGs have the ability to give me goosebumps when I read em. Not here though. It lost some flavor because of that.

You know what I absolutley love this game, I usually never play a game twice even if it has a second ending but this gamehonestly the best game i have played on Kongregate I hope there will be another I could just imagine what story line it would have. All in all 5/5, 10/10 Whatever, just amazing.

Would be nice to see a third one where allies (probably just NPCs) could fight with you and have like 2v2 battles instead of just 1 on 1. Also, I found it pretty funny that all I had to do was stack all my offensive stuff and I ended up killing almost everybody before even taking any damage.

i won the yongue mage contest, got all the spells, i was neutral ,became #1 ,defeated the mysterious hermit (rlly easy with combo attack) and became great mage :P i am INVINCIBLE!!!!!

well this game is good but i think it should be extended so that u can keep playing to the point where u can get all the spells and own it up that would be fun or sandbox or something idk just something where u can keep playing even though main campaign is done =]

I played the first version, I loved the way you improved the gameplay and the graphics without changing the base of the game, congrats. It is a good game with a good history behind and you can change how you'll end in the history, I recommend this game to anyone who enjoy a rpg-like game, and in my opinion the poison water is the best mage to play, I like the idea to damage the enemy without having to attack every turn, adn besides poison water mages i recomment as well burnin hill mages, their combo is over 500 damage, if the enemy dont freeze or paralyze your attack you'll probably win.
Hope the next game of yours come out soon, cant wait!

@agecaf if im greater sea i absorb all the dmg and give it plus mine to you in the next turn = u die ^^ dont understimate the other classes. i've played with all the classes and what i've saw is all r powerfull but the burning hill and the blood one. with that 2 i tried 5 differents way to start and never could kill the one that come to kill u once ger chosen to be in the torunament. but with all the others i won against him the first time i meet it

5/5, and it’s greatly improved from the previous, and the music is AWESOME! but there are a couple things that bother me. I think that the mages should all be equal, because there is a point with chaos desert mages where they are pretty much unbeatable... Instead of the stronger class winning it should be the stronger mage that wins. Also, it would make more sense, in my opinion, that when you launch attacking bolts at a mage with attacking and defending bolts, that your bolts collide in mid-air before attacking the other mage. I have lost several battles and several life points because of this before.

Excellent game but, I must be doing something wrong: it seems to take a heck of a lot of grinding (Hellooo, Mana Cave) to up to the level where I'm not losing battles. Any tips?

if u r desetr chaos u pwn with dmg, if u r greater sea u absorb dmg to hp or absorb the dmg and pwn in next turn. if u r poison master and u c u cant win the do poison wave one turn and paralize the next one. the secret to win this game is never run out of mana ^^

I found being burning hill the best with double attack points and combo i couldnt become the great mage because i couldnt kill the burning hill clan leader because he kept using combo with 500 power while as chaos desert i only could have 250

Awesome game. Darkwood is easily the best clan, simply because of the trade life spell. Just don't raise your HP above 160, rest the first round to get to 60 hp, Increase Special twice to drop to 20 hp, trade life with your opponent and silence him for the rest of the match. Beat the old hermit this way no problem, though you do kinda have to go kamikaze on that one since he can cast so many bolts. Get combined attack! it's amazing

I now understand how the Chaos Desert Clan Leader became Great Mage... Chaos Desert is the most powerful! You can make twince with only 20 special, which can penetrate through low defences, the add bolts power (+ totally upgraded add High/Low bolts and fully upgraded) can be irrationally powerful, burning can just anihilate ennemies and upgrade attack just... Now imagine all of them combined into a massive, almost unstoppable colossal attack. They simply can't avoid it*.(*note: DON'T TRY THIS ATTACK AGAINST HIGH MAGES FROM GREAT SEA CLAN IF THEY HAVE MORE THAN 60 SPECIAL!!! They can just send the attack against you times 10)

Awesome game, but I found a few serious problems with balanced classes. I'm pretty sure it's the clan named Burning Hill is waaaaay too overpowered. For example, I'm fighting ths one enemy who can a. Hit with each bolt for 170 damage, b. Attack using 20 high bolts and 10 low bolts at the same time, and c. reduces my special bar by 2 with each hit, making it impossible to defend with abilities.

I was 1st in the book of rankings,Great Mage,9 mages saved from the black robes that joined white ones,killed all final enemies and neutral enemies at the last duels...
Won young contest and all other duels,never lost...I did only 2900...
