I started a single race to test this game. The 3d graphics are nicely done for an independent 3D game, and I think the performance is great and speedy even though I'm playing it on an older computer.
I have to say though that the terrain obstacles such as oil slicks, or driving on grass, even running into trees or fences doesn't have very much affect on my speed. The speed boosters are nice though.
I also have a lot of trouble steering my taxi and keeping myself straight on the road. The driving speed is basically way fast at about speed 146 mph but its hard to go at any speed other than that unless you stop accelerating, causing a fast slid in speed towards zero, or you hit a speed boost, and hopefully you're facing in the right direction or you loose the speed advantage.
There is also a bug where I crossed the finish line at 2/4 place -- second place, I guess-- but it said that I won.
Oh well, at least this taxi racing game looks like an interesting game that has promise.
