If anyone needs help getting past level 19, you should place all your ground towers in a diagonal line across the field and hit the tanks while they're being hit by the towers. Position the air towers parallel to the top of the field and the mines scattered throughout.

just adding to my previous comment, i thought this game was so awesome i was looking for a version for my smart phone and theres is an app for this :D. called tesla defense (same as game) and for me it was free. so get it everyone :D

I really get shocked how many people have no idea who Tesla is. The main reason they have electricity in their house. Im from Serbia,and Nikola Tesla is Serbian :) Im proud of it.

Yeah to all you whise asses who "know" Teslas history and the creation of his Coil, shield and possibly other weapons here is a REAL history LESSON from a serbian, because he was a serb too: When he invented that, he wanted to give it all to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia because i quote: "I created a mighty weapon for my beloved country, that force that i practicly tested, will give Yugoslavia great power and nobody would be able to stop it. I am overjoyed, because i am helping my country". And he would put up generators across the country to generate power for the weapon. He would put 3 in Serbia, 2 in Croatia and 1 in Slovenia i think. That is the very short version of the story, but the entire story is long and im bored to type it here.

Well paced. Got my last upgrade on the 20th level. At the end I would like to be able to see what my achievements were instead of just icons.

for those who don't know Edison made the direct current or DC and Tesla made the alternating current or AC, AC has a much higher power output than DC but Edison thought that AC is too dangerous so he stuck with DC. For a while Tesla and Edison battle for dominance over the energy market, which Tesla was winning, but soon Tesla's funder went bankrupt and so Tesla was forced to sell his patents for AC to Edison. The energy we not use today is all AC power. I hope this helps any who had no idea about the history. I missed a few details like J P Morgan buying out Edison's company and all this other stuff. If you really care that much just look up Tesla

good game, could have done with a little more stratagy though, like endplanets said; more variation and more levels would do this game proud. Also: shooter only version with a moving Tesla? just a thought.

...all in all a very good game...but...whats the story behind this...just remeber something 'bout Tesla and Edison...am I correct there?

Dear NSBROTHERHOOD: In regards to jodybrai's comment: Yes, it would be nice to be able to save a layout, but that is the flaw in and of itself. If you do decide to make a sequel make it so that there are different maps/scenarios in some way so that we are forced to change our turrets around each match...... Like rocks, rivers where boats go down, double airplanes this round, double ground troops this round. Choke points, split lanes, enemies moving in an S pattern. Some lanes have X big enemies that are vulnerable to Tesla while another lane has Y small enemies which are vulnerable to turrets........ Stuff like that.

Needs a money sink, ended up just buying all the upgrades because I had nothign else to do with the money, maybe a consumable that resets cooldowns?

I’m waiting for “Tesla Defense 2: Mecha Tesla”, with a campaign where you conquer all of Germany, ending in Berlin. Ok, I’d prefer it to be offensive rather then defensive. In both meanings of the word. XD

The death of tho boss was rather unspectacular. And the towers served more as weak temporary blockades than as damage dealers. Otherwise the theming was very likable, the action was a good chaos, and it was surprisingly well-balanced even with the useless towers.
One good addition would be, to let the player buy something awesome (like a giant super Tesla mech “suit” with lightning-tree-blasting arms and all) with the leftover money after the boss died. And then have him stand there in *that* “suit”, walking around like a boss in the final screen! That would feel really rewarding. :)
3.5/5 because it was good but not captivating and a bit lacking in variety (the small things).

On 19, I couldn't beat it until I had maxed out everything, I put 2 rows of 5 mines in the very front, a solid line of tesla ground, a solid line of tesla air. I fired my tesla click in burst just to slow down the invasion, and saved orbital for a big group. My whole defense got wiped out and I frantically stalled with tesla clicks and placing rebuilt towers until I could do another orbital on a big group, then I mopped up the survivors.

Wow. This is just straightforward an amazing game. The art and music are surprisingly well done, and I couldn't find any balance flaws. I'd love to see a sequel or more well made games like this.

very fun game, cool concept, the only things that bugs me is that it's too short, and you'll easily buy every upgrade by wave 20, so theres not much personalisation going on

Completed the game :D only dint get 2 achievements lol nice theme on the game and the upgrades are good although maybe a sequel?

Soooo, the game isn't much (not really my taste, don't hate me) but i absolutely love the theme music, it is probably one of the better theme music clips i have heard.
