Difficult to get started in campiagns or quick matches, and the menu screens layout is horrible. Beyond that, it's a great game.

As much as I like this game, it almost completely kills it for me that the enemy seems to have every one of their race's cards right from the start. Kind of hard to win a match when the enemy is launching an 8 strength, or higher, ship every turn by the second round.

Excellent game, but yet no cloud saving. 5/5 even I can't play this, thanks to saving system... always losing saves at some point

The game's been balanced a lot better than before. If you feel like you have a say on card balance, it might be prudent to take it up on the forums. Personally, I've gotten quite a few cards changed.

@Lightning69 Dude, I've gotten impossible badges on well rated card/strategy games. I know how to play these types of games, but this simply isn't balanced. There is way too much luck involved and the first campaign pits you against opponents that can (but don't always) do things like put down a bunch of nanobot leeches.
Just about every card the opponent uses in the first campaign is far superior to what you have to begin with. That isn't a good design and will limit its popularity since the learning curve is too steep.

With an internet that works perfectly fine on any other game, I get timed out anytime I try to start a multiplayer match. Are the servers down?

@thegoodlocust - No point raging just because you cant play the game lol Im on chapter 3 of the human campaign and havn't had a problem yet. Yes its hard but thats what makes it fun ;)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
God have you tried playing the human campaign? The opponents just have ridiculously overpowered cards you can't compete against like nanobot leeches or other cheap OP crap.

I'd like to be able to go back in a campaign and attempt the harder difficulty level to get the upgraded card. Right now, once you complete normal, you can't go back. Otherwise, great game.
You can replay the entire campaign once it's finished. The first time you complete each encounter on each of the 3 difficulties guarantees you a reward. If you do the same encounter on the same difficulty multiple times, the chances to get the reward go down, but if you do all difficulties you'll get 3 copies (level I, II and III) of each card.

The Unstable Grav Rift caught my attention, there are 3 other such cards that generate 3 different types of energy per turn and these cards don't have race/energy icons besides the race which they belong to.

Great actual game, but the interface can use some work. Since everything is either blue or grey on menus, it can get a bit boring for people to look at. Animation is key in making a game successful.

Hovering over each faction emblem should tell you which type of energy they use, unless I'm missing something it's a pain to look through each of their structures to find out which is which.
Look at the colors - if the race icon and the energy icon have the same color, they belong together. Also, all energy structures belonging to a certain race will generate the energy of their own race (sometimes also energy of other races, but always their own color first).
Cards that are in play and who have an ability that you can activate at wish, will have a small icon on their image in play. If this icon is glowing, the ability is available. Then you just have to click this card and the ability will either trigger right away, or it will ask you to choose a target for it.

Very good FREE game. Deep strategy, lots of options, upgrades, simple graphics. One of my favorite ! 5/5
Possible extension : base customization and access to your decks from the lab

Long campaign. Long deck upgrading to keep it interesting. 8 (well, 9 kinda) races each with there own theme and most are reasonably balanced. All for free? Epic.

hmmm, a card game. Nice music... Nice visuals, sort of simplistic gameplay.... oh look, im dead. why? I have no idea since there isnt a tutorial. Pay button? yeah, right! I have no problem investing money to games I enjoy, but these games are all the same. he who spends the most money wins. whoopee do! Next CCG please

I swore myself off games like this because of blatant money-grabbing tactics but I may make an exception here. Glad to see a good ccg for those who can't afford to dole out a pile of cash.

I really....really wanted to like this, but the battles just take too long and the learning curve can be a bit much since the opponents in the campaign seem to have random decks - some of which are frankly unbeatable when you first start out.

One of the best TCG games out there and that's not including the fact that you dont have to pay a penny! Loved all your games and keep up the good work 5/5

For a 3rd version, not much change in visuals to call it a day. Sure, game quality != graphics, but having the same dull and ugly interface is rather annoying after two previous release. But... keeping the game freeware in every sense, meaning not even a single nagging about some shit app version means you still do it on the right way. 3/5 for the lack of innovation.

Ok, ok, here goes another CCG... Rank over 3... Let's have a look... Hmmm. Nice battles. Hmm! Lots of races, cards, missions, campaigns, PvP and everything... Well ok it's very good. Ok, now where can those bullys pay all their money to kick me, whatever strong I am? Hey wait a second. Where is the PAY button? Oh cmon, there is ALWAYS a PAY button in CCGs! And they ALWAYS kick me! And that's why I don't like CCGs! WHAT? Thereis NO PAY BUTTON? OMFG this is the best game ever guys! Why the hell is it ranked so low??? No energy, no crap - just a beautiful awesome strategic game! Cmon it deserves a 5/5!!

Tip: On the Quick Battles screen, were it says "Strength," that's YOUR strength, not your opponent's. Higher numbers make it easier.
