@lifemare that will tweak balance a bit... Now you cannot skip attack against dark deflector and you're forced either to suicide on it or kill it before it kills you. Same with all ships with retaliation, sometimes it's better not to attack against them.
Dunno if that's worth the pleasure >_> .

Well-designed mechanics, at least at first glance; reminiscent of Zanzarino's elements and Garfield's Spectromancer. And, of course, there's no "Give Us Money Nao" button. I like it.

You know what would be cool? Having the mouseover for a card also show how many of that card we have at different levels.

Awesome continuation here NULLL Void.
I played my way through the whole series and some of your other games as well.
It's nice to see a good idea from it's basic starts as a stratego type come all this way.
The graphics rock hard and the overall make-up has reached epic dimensions.
One thing still bugs me though. SPARK is still way to powerful.

I like the game play, but I think it would benefit from a tutorial being obviously available from the start screen. The only other thing SLIGHTLY lacking, I think, its the aesthetics of the interface.

There is a card called warfare akata, but i can't find it on the wiki.
Can i obtain it? or is it only for A.I.?
I saw the card in: the Ca'anian campaign in chapter 3 at the last node
This is a custom card. When you mouse over the card, in the bottom right corner of the card image, there will be a hammer & wrench icon. Custom cards can appear in storyline campaigns (occasionally), random campaings and wars (often) and in player created campaigns. These are indeed AI only.

I'll look into the Quick Fight problem. The game hasn't been updated in a while, so i can't say what's wrong right away. Perhaps the most recent flash player update broke something.

A note for interested players: The maximum amount of same-level-same-cards you can have is 8. If you get any more you don't actually get them (So upgrade you cards in time). Another thing to keep in mind is that when you have two legendary card (cards with stars) that are the same in a deck, if you play the second one while the first one is still alive they both explode (I haven't checked this for all cards, but it happened a few times for me with Magistralis).

Just thought of something. For the second part of that, you probably thought of that but didn't want to create decks less than 30 cards in size. So, how about you expand on the deck manager part to include a check to see if it's at least 30 cards in size and, with that, useable at all. if it's not, then you can still create the deck, but can't start a new game if that deck is the one selected. Also, this would let players temporarily create a deck less than 30 cards in size if they needed to do so for other reasons. Hope you like this idea. If not, still loving this game. Easily a 5/5, from balance alone. Free to play just makes this a favorite.

I want to remind everyone that you can't have more than eight of a single card, so don't try to stockpile spectrum cores.

If you need to remove your own ships Barragor, the artifact card lost mine can destroy target ship including your own. There's also the Rivi'i cards Recall, Charge, and Ambush that all have a ship destruction as either an effect or a cost. There's also anti-matter bomb, technoquasar, chain reaction, etc. If the ship is cloaked, well eject might do the job if it has less than 7 defense, but I've never tried it.

this game doesn't deserve 5/5 for not selling out, i've played plenty of no-pay CCGs that deserved a 1/5.
this game deserves 5/5 for being a well thought out, well balanced CCG with lots of possible play-styles and minimal use of played-out ideas.

it would be even more fun if there were more players to play multiplayer with. You know how we can have that? BADGES! it has the appropriate rating and the top comments show how much people like it. THIS NEEDS BAGES.

There is a command on the left of the battle screen whick allows you to destroy your base's structures. it's marked with a red cross. + so people can see

This really needs its own forum section, this game is great! No pay and a good gameplay make it really amazing. I don't understand why it has a low rating. Maybe a more graphic or easy tutorial could help. Most people won't like to read all the tutorial, and unless you are familiarized with CCGs you will get frustrated. I didn't read the tutorial and I find out late that I could destroy my structures. Anyway, great concept!

I've just scrapped a lot of cards which I'm not using. Now I have over 150 tokens, don't really feel like clicking the slots 75 times - would it be possible to spend multiple tokens at once?

Game is awesome aside from the lack of a save feature. Losing my progress repeatedly really causes me to lose interest.

And @Jzyehoshua again, if you hadn't realized, the game does not host any server-side saves. The maker of this game runs a truely free game setup, so that means he cannot afford to run a large server with all your game info on it. So if you are switching between computers or devices, and thinking to play the same game on each, you are out of luck. Each device will have a separate and distinct save.

Just fight a ton of quick battle. They'll show up randomly. Try marathon at 1 difficulty to make the process faster - next battle starts right after you finish the other one.

I wonder if the prebuilt deck strings are available anywhere. It seems like that would be a good start for people to learn to build their own decks.

I really enjoy the plot of the campaigns! And the deck of the opponent are in synch with the story, the game gets much more interesting. I am just starting all my campaigns again, just to read the whole story =D

Since the dev keeps making the game better, it's only fair that we should occasionally comment again what a great game this is :)
I'm looking into creating games for mobile devices. For Android this is relatively straightforward, i just need to buy an android device first. For ipad, i'd need an apple computer to be able to build ipad versions and then an actual ipad to test stuff and then a license to be able to deploy to ipad. This costs more than i earned thus far from my game so it's not going to happen unless people help me out with funding. More info on this can be found on my website at : http://nulll-void.com/games/donate.php

Very good FREE game. Deep strategy, lots of options, upgrades, simple graphics. One of my favorite ! 5/5
Possible extension : base customization and access to your decks from the lab

Excellent CCG, not even including the fact it's free to play. I find that almost everything is balanced. I especially like being able to choose a new hand at the start once with no penalty, more times for less cards. Maybe one more free re-pick wouldn't hurt, but that's not significant. Also, I would like it if it was remembered what deck you were last using, but that's only when you quit the game entirely, so that's not a big deal either. Really, the only problem in game play is that you have a limited number of ship spaces in the field, though nothing you can do to replace them. Perhaps some kind of ability or menu item that uses energy to reclaim ships and put them back in the deck, or destroy them freely. Other than that, it's somewhat annoying to get cards, since is based almost all on luck. Still, I'm glad to see that NULLL games are finally in the credit I think they deserve. Sorry this is such a long read, hope you can keep your ratings high.

It's not common to see a great new card game, but one that I don't have to spend 200$ a month on to keep up? You get a 5 stars from me.

There are games and there are works of art that are interactive. This is quickly working toward a masterpiece of flash player. Not only is it well designed and excellently balanced, it is also quite beautiful to look at. The lack of a premium currency makes this game a complete win in my book. In my opinion, its a easy 5/5! I look forward to a sequel. Also, Caes'cix FTW!!!
