You get all the races by winning a bunch of games. Look at "Scores" for details.
Ok, I've got nearly all the achievements. Great game. A few comments: (1) There may be a bug involving Mind Hack, I think I've lost between 1 and 5 cards to it when the computer plays it. (2) I know what all the cards do, and I still have trouble following the AI's play sometimes. Slow it down? Make it clearer? Dunno. (3) The technowall seems overpowered. (4) I still am not sure what the shield thing does, but if it reduces all damage to you, it seems a little weird.
And I agree with the show disabled ships comment [and by the way, the AI really likes disabling the same ship more than once]. And the multiplayer comments.

This has to be the best CCG i've played (and believe me i've played them all - Duels of the Planeswalkers included - since way back when 6st edition Magic the Gathering was coming out).
Even though this is screaming for a campaign, it's still pretty addicting and has huge depth of gameplay.
Introducing some background to the different (amazing) races throughout an epic intergallactic quest would make this game even more awesome. Where you'd enter system battles to liberate oppressed factions, join the resistance (with their cards), find derelict cards or assault and conquer different armies, gaining cards as you go along toppling regimes and encountering new races.
Maybe even adding a little 4X to the gameplay, wich wouldn't be very difficult.
Another suggestion: instead of having a difficulty setting, allow us to costumize skirmishs (like in Civ) with HP, mana generation, and maybe starting structures...
Congrats on an excelent game! Wish i could award 6stars.

Technowall owns especially if you have a healer for it :D Phoenix+3-4 Akata+ Technowall+ misc. supports = total win. :D

mech2000, this might come as a total surprise to you, but starcraft did not invent those words, and the creative world in the scifi universe is also much bigger than SC2 and much much older.
Plenty of these have been used 100s of times in various scifi media, like books (if you have ever heard of these), movies and even games.
Do some research before you throw around accusations of theft, or come up with some proof - else you're just an ignorant troll.
I can go into detail about any of these terms and provide examples from various media where they have been used prior to blizzard even existing.
gamesmaster5, find the text in the duel setup screen that says 'build/edit' deck.

@Mech2000: I can feel sorry for you cause this game came out earlier than starcraft. Also starcraft cant copyright the in-game names cause I can also then copyright the sword, scimitar, blade and dagger names and you dont see any slashing weapons in the games. Got what I say?

o god.... give me a minus if u want but... im pretty sure that the creator stoloe names from starcraft 2. "overseer," "probe," "scout," "greater spire," "hivemind," "drone," "wraith," "vulture," and "cruiser missile" if u take the starcraft 2 names "nuclear missile" and "battlecruiser." im sorry but this is a good game, but u took other names form another game. 2/5

WARNING SPOILER
It has been already said many times that Rift Demons are overpowered but nobody has compared it to other races:
Dark Rift cost none; +1 elemental/dark / enemy -1 energy - D. Energy Tower () COST 2; +1 dark / enemy -1 energy
Nebular Rift cost none; +1 dark/nebular, 1 random damage - Flak Cannon COST 3; 2 random damage no energy production
Gravitational Rift cost none; +1 grav/elemental, +1HP - Hivemind Fusor +1 fusion, + 1HP
Energy Rift cost 2 (+1 when built) +2 elemental (no other building like this owned by other races)
This is definitely imbalanced as basic buildings of this race are like elite buildings of others. Also Rift Demons have too many elite units (8 while average is slightly over 2). I hope that if there's next version of this game, it will be fixed.

Nullvoid, I have to say, this is an amazing game. I'm have a soft-spot for online CCGs, but Hidden Dimensions is one of the best I've played. Having said that, however, it could be epic if you released an update incorporating some suggestions from the top-rated comments. I'd love to get to know the background, play through a campaign, and see status icons on my ships. Even without that, though, it's still a 5/5 in my book. Thanks for making it!

The Caes Cix decks are woefully weak in comparison to any of the others. Suggest looking at rebalancing. Other than that, excellent game - lots of fun. Thanks!

high praise. one of the top comments already addresses the minor issues i have with the game. the biggest complaint i have is that all of the game is controlled by mouse - except canceling a card action. it'd be nice if there were a mouse equivalent of canceling a card action so that there's no keyboard aspect to the game at all. (conversely, keyboard shortcuts for all gameplay might be nice too, but i don't think as necessary.)

This is probably my favorite card-based game on the site. 4 sparks and then an entire deck devoted to buffing them/keeping them alive is an epic troll. If I had to give constructive criticism: I want the ability to destroy my own ships, an archived turn history so I can see what the computer has done to me with its action cards, and a symbol to indicate a disabled ship.

Please tweak the Flash so that it scales with the page in Firefox/Chrome like other Flash games on here. Its very helpful for those of us with 1080p HD monitors. Thanks!

I'd really love to play this game RL. Is a box of cards available? I'd pay for that like for any other board game.
Or is there any possibility to get the cards, so I could print them by myself?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Erm... i can't play all the races, i looked and found nothing about how to achieve the achievements.... Can anyone explain pls?

Great game, it would really benefit from a storyline. and to diodavid7, there is oxygen in the ships, so explosions would be possible, but they would be very fast and small

Another day, another post of how this is the best game ever and I would totally buy an Artscow version. (Also, Spark is overpowered.) And I looked up "Elements" after seeing it in a comment. How can you say this is even in the same league? Elements has no blocking or positioning, and therefore 25% of the awesomeness. This game is better in every way.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Overall a solid shot at the CCG. Fewer races may've been a good idea (Elements suffers from the balance/differentiation problems of too many). There's not enough feedback on the enemy's plays. That's always tricky in computer CCGs. Magic hasn't found a decent computer implementation in decades of attempts. Not enough info or slows play to a crawl. Spectromancer's perhaps gotten the balance closest of all attempts.

The Technomancer race needs a serious revamp. They are horrible to play as standalone and terribly boring. They have so many defensive cards that the game gets drawn out, but you still lose in the end because there's no way you can kill your opponent. You normally only have 1-2 ships out that can actually do damage. The ship slots are filled with ships that won't die but that won't do any damage either so you always end up have a gazillion resources by the end of the game that You simply cannot spend. I have around 250 wins now, but still not completed the Technomancer achievement simply because they're such a drag as standalone. Other than that, great game! (and it needs a multiplayer)

Okay, first foremost, I really enjoy this game. It has a lot of replayability, interesting art and diverse card effects. However, there are a few things I must bring up.
For starters, what do black holes do in this game? Second, why does my starting energy input (the number of energies you get without playing anything) sometimes start at 2, while at others it's 1? And thirdly, why is there an achievement that you can't utilize at all without completely restarting the game on the site this was originally on? To me...that's just not cool.

Daduzi: I guess I have to agree ;) with proper cards, like mirror shield, mixed-demon deck is difficul to beat... but I have to admit that im not a big fan of "action cards" except technomancers
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
OmarCZ, yep, I've got all possible cards. I see what you're saying about the cost issue, but that's easily cancelled by sticking a few Dimensional Sails, Rift Echogates, Dimensional Rifts and Technomancer stalling cards in the deck (scanner ghost, mirror shield and technowall). Add in Lesser Grav and Nebula Demons and it's pretty easy to survive long enough to build up enough energy to do serious damage. That's how I play and I haven't yet lost except when I made really stupid mistakes. I also think adding another element to the Demons would make them more challenging and fun to play and force you to think out your strategy ahead of time more carefully instead of putting in a bit of everything, stalling then destroying.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Daduzi: rift demons are strong yes, but did you finish the game?(all possible cards) I did and believe me rift demons are not owerpowered, lesser demons could be killed quite easily and for greater demons you need a lot of energy 10-12 so if NPC already have couple of greater demons your deck is weak... human or RiviĀ“i deck works great against demons :) ...oh one more thing premade decks are useless ;)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Why all this games are so slow to beat the opponent? Mtg has for instance sli or stompy, combo decks... yes, and slow control. But you're not obligated to fight 50 rounds just with big meat...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
One small suggestion: I think the Rift Demons may be a little overpowered as stands because they can do pretty much everything the other races can do. It might be a good idea to make each Greater Demon (at least) require one of whatever energy source they're tied to (so Solar Demons would require 1 Solar as well as 10 dimensional). That way it would force players to prioritise, compromise and focus on one or two main strategies instead of going for everything at once. It would also make going down the prismatic route more attractive (as would boosting the energy production on prismatic structures).

Funniest thing happened to me: Used data crystal, reicived data crystal from it. So I used it again, but I gont another data crystal. I uset that one to and finally got the terror mage. Then the enemy used mind hack and i had to discard it XDXD

nullvoid, this is imo the best flash game I've ever played. I find your game to be incredibly well thought out, original in execution, building on games that are favourites of millions to make a sci-fi epic that feels fresh, and also, it feels really balanced, a remarkable achievement when you really see how many cards there are in this game. Little upset that all my progress seems to have disappeared, but hey! Now I get to play it all again. Thumbs up for a game thats worth a five in my book.

lol, i got a good excuse for misspelling, i'm chinese. anyway, I would like to request the stats for insane computers, from what I see, it appears to have +2 regen(total 3), 1 shield and 150 HP, is that it?

I can't seem to select any races for my deck in the random deck section beyond terrans, ca'anian and xyloxi.... I assume the others are going to be made avaialble in time?

To deathvonduel, it makes me laugh that you misspelled grammar ;)
My "Report Bug" button seems to be malfunctioning, so I'll throw it in here in hopes that someone reads it. If I have 8 cards in my hand (a full hand), click the button to destroy one of my own structures, and then click end turn without either destroying a structure or pressing escape, it freezes. It requests that I discard a card, but will only let me select one of my active structures. Bug ;)
